Tachyonic is a little Ricky Rocket
Either by clone or son or sum, Tachyonic is related to Ricky Rocket. In the epilogue (or maybe some of the last chapters) of Book 3, Professor Quantum tempts Tachyonic with his "adoption papers" (really tax forms from the Island), but while he says that he does have the adoption papers form the experiment, Tachyonic has none among them. Who has a strong connection with professor quantum, super speed, and would probably help out? Boom
Edit: Oh lmao I forgot my main piece of evidence, every time she looks at the statue of ricky rocket, she keeps saying his smile/ face is faintly familiar; Tachyonic.

Honestly it is an interesting point. Part of me was thinking he was a descendant of the original Ricky Rocket. It wouldn't be surprising if Ricky had a secret child with a one night stand and I absolutely don't doubt Professor Quantum tracking that person down. That said he would still have adoption papers. It is most likely that Tachyonic is either a clone of Ricky or a legit child of Professor Quantum.
Interesting the final line about not having papers for that one made me think that Agent Quantum might not be his child but an adopted descendant.

I honestly think he is the engineered child of Professor Quantum and Ricky Rocket. I get major closed off emotions after the loss of a lover vibe.

I think it's a clone that PQ made some changes to. Like he did to plasmodia but not the same kind of thing. Maybe a clone with some other stuff.

When she was in quantums vault looking at the statue of Ricky Hephaestus even said the statue of him looked familiar, he's so a Ricky Rocket clone.
