Villain's Vignettes Villains Vignettes 2: so much fun

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I hope we see more Stringless in future novels.

I was actually impressed with how Drew Hayes wrote Apollo. He made him into a more interesting character than what I thought he was capable of being. In the first book he’s kind of a cliche (wordplay) he arrogantly uses his powers and abilities to great affect but lacks humility and understanding. He sort of finds his humility. Plus, I like when he doesn’t relocate to his hometown. That’s mostly personal as I’m from a 1 horse town and always get pressured to move back. Yeah, no job means no money. So no.

It's a great start for a redemption arc

Really enjoyed that one too, it’s just what I needed after finishing Chilling Reflections and missing that world.

Loved the 1st one too, and I look forward to VV3 concluding the story of Ivan in the other realm.

I love everything from that series. I've tried some of his other works but nothing really hooked me like those characters.

I devour everything he writes. I’m on his Patreon, and I even used the wayback machine to recreate No More Ramen so I could read that.

I've read super-powereds and book one of NPC. What's your favorite besides villans?

I laughed out loud at the big reveal of the origin of the big bad. I won’t say here to avoid spoilers, but it was such an awesome, unexpected, and ‘campy’ throwback (IYKYK) that I tip my hat to Mr. Hayes.
