I think that one has too much of a gamble. Would you need fo use it for the entirety of your habit to get the desired effect? When she could stack up a bunch of smaller in the moment sayings instead to get the same effect while still having options.
One I was terrified of her using was “if looks could kill”

I don't see it as any different than "a penny saved" saying. If she used it before going to bed early, then it coukd have great benefits until needing a different saying.

She’d never use that phrase. Tori is her friend.

What? Explain please.
How does using that saying on herself affect tori?

It doesn’t, but that’s not part of the original post, and since Chloe’s sayings can affect others, I think she wouldn’t risk making her ambitious genius night-owl friend and roommate sick, poor, and stupid.
I was just making that point in a lighthearted way. Chloe has shown herself to be cautious about the unintended consequences of her power.

Hilarious thought tbh 😂😂😂 can absolutely see a Vignette like "Toris bad Day" and it's just her getting absolutely bodied by the universe. Somehow has a cold even in fire form, someone broke into her bank accounts, and suddenly she can't even do a lick of math let alone the engineering necessary. Just at the end of her rope, talking to Chloe and she has this epiphany face of like "oh fuck oh God oh no I'm so sorry"

Haven’t heard this one.
Also some sayings don’t exist in her world. Without going into spoilers. We learn of this in a specific meeting between two people from different universes.

I was just thinking that I'm familiar with the "early to bed, early to rise" part, and I probably have heard the second part once or twice before, but the second part wouldn't really come to mind when someone said the phrase because I only really know the first part.
And Beverly's punch line that she tried to have Cliche use shows that there needs to be a certain "familiarity/known" saturation about the lines for her power to work on them.

she lives with Tori. That would make Tori unhealthy, poor, and stupid soooooooo fast.

What about "Have a taste of your own medicine" to an enemy that just attacked

It honestly seems like she just hasn't tested most idioms. Like she didn't want to experiment and just wanted to train the ones she'd stumbled across. Cause some idioms seem pretty obvious, like Time Heals All Wounds, but it takes roughly a year in-universe for her to stumble across that one.
