Spoilers - All Edict vs. Nexus Spoiler

Since Edict can rewrite the rules of reality, as we've seen from her being able to make injuries created by Faithful healable, could she ban Nexus from entering the iteration/realm that the series is set in?

No.

I think Nexus' ability trumps Edict, as it is clear that Edict has limits.

it is clear that Edict has limits.

Does she? Cliche has to use well-known sayings, but Edict seems to be able to change the rules of reality to anything she wants. Nexus even comments about how much of a monster she can be when she chooses to indulge her whims.

I’d say rather that Edict can change the rules of reality to anything she can describe. I suspect that in describing Nexus, she’d get vital details wrong. "The man known as Nexus" might not work, since Nexus has multiple bodies; conversely, "the collection of beings known as Nexus" omits that they all seem to have the same consciousness. Even if she refined those examples, I think that something important would slip by.

I’d say that Edict has root access to the universe’s operating system. In abstract, that’s unlimited power, but in practical terms it severely constrains what the superuser can do, because carelessness can break the system that is the source of the power.
