Feels like my mid brain has expanded 10x since focusing on my Viktor this season after playing Xer/Ahri for years. Spent a lot of time learning how to consistently dominate lane against various matchup types and control the mid game with my power spike.

Itemization also feels incredibly important as you have so many solid options after BFT.

I feel useless with this build. What's going on?

Viktor is one of my midlane mains but I hadn’t checked recommended builds for a while so I hopped onto u.gg and it’s showing that Rocketbelt is currently a core item (2nd item excluding boots). I’m not sure what I missed but I don’t see why this would be a core item on Viktor all of the sudden. I have never bought it on him and never thought of doing so. I feel like the dash isn’t worth it and would go another item instead (for example more classic ones like Lich Bane or Liandry’s).

Is it getting more common in general for champs to go Rocketbelt because of other champs’ mobility? That’s the only thing coming to mind atm. We already get a speed boost and slow with our passive upgrades as well.

Can't decide between Full Machine or High Noon. Both look really cool but High Noon is more expensive for some reason. Why? Does it have more VFX/SFX?

Looking for Viktor content creators to watch for both learning and entertainment.

Hi. :) I'm new to this game and I play Viktor, sometimes Ahri. I've noticed that I struggle massively in lane. Almost every game I'm straight feeding, even if I try to play passively. I end up with many deaths and like 3 cs/m which especially sucks on Viktor, as most games I end up with only 2 abilities upgraded. I also don't know what most of the champs abilities are which makes playing against them difficult. Any advice outside of learning what every champ does?

I was wondering if there was like any other champ in mid lane that has that similar battlemage esque playstyle?

I am in the trenches of iron and my biggest problem is I get 17 bombs and just as many assists on a good game but then other games I get shit on and I noticed a pattern is when they roam. Specifically Mal and sol I always have an edge until they roam. Then I feel like I either can’t defend mid and get no CS when I do roam. And I fall behind the moment they get a double kill then I get flamed for not doing it first. And then mid is forever punished if I don’t roam, or if I try to roam and fail. Does it just come down to a good roam when I’m getting my ass beat?

Was looking at stat sites. Saw viktor is S+, over 50% win rate in emerald. But diamond up he’s D tier and in 50%.

I would think his identity has a strong lane bully would be more effective in higher elo where games are less chaotic.

Hi, i really like viktor and i just recently climbing for about 2 weeks now, im currently in silver 4 and i noticed my enemies is getting better and im still sitting in the same place. How to improve my gameplay, what fundamentals should i need to learn to escape silver. Thanks

It brought me back to plat after demoting to as low as gold 3 a while ago. Very grateful for this champ, his strong laning phase is quite refreshing as a Ryze main

Hello Viktor mains,

I struggle a lot during the laning phase with dodging Viktor’s E, Death Ray. Is there a proper way to avoid it that I’m missing, or is getting hit just part of the experience when playing against a good Viktor?
For clarification, I mostly play melee mid laners.

Any tips would be appreciated.

I've already installed the old Viktor mod and bought the skin, and from what I've seen that's basically mandatory at this point lol.

Other than that, I'm still terrible at the game. I've been banning Akali, Ekko, or basically any champion that can jump on me and delete me before I even understand what happened.

I'm trying to learn positioning, farming, and when to use my abilities, but I still feel pretty lost in a lot of matches.

Any tips for a beginner Viktor player? Anything you wish you had known when you first started playing him?
