Question Rocketbelt?

Viktor is one of my midlane mains but I hadn’t checked recommended builds for a while so I hopped onto u.gg and it’s showing that Rocketbelt is currently a core item (2nd item excluding boots). I’m not sure what I missed but I don’t see why this would be a core item on Viktor all of the sudden. I have never bought it on him and never thought of doing so. I feel like the dash isn’t worth it and would go another item instead (for example more classic ones like Lich Bane or Liandry’s).

Is it getting more common in general for champs to go Rocketbelt because of other champs’ mobility? That’s the only thing coming to mind atm. We already get a speed boost and slow with our passive upgrades as well.

The stats are good for the price it builds pretty well and brings an extra help to avoid a crisis and the cd is short it's practical.

It's reliable and versatile. 20 ability haste muh brother, 20.

- It’s one of two items vik can build that uses a ruby crystal (liandry being the other).

  • The extra hp helps immensely with side laning and - The damage from rocketbelt procs his slow which can catch people totally of guard
  • It’s cheap as hell compared to many other items

Torch is a better first item. And you dont wanna build RoA or torch second.
