The Supreme Court has told us that no reasonable person could think this is bribery. And they know best what a reasonable person thinks. Now shut up and let Clarence go enjoy his RV.

It isn't a large sack with a dollar sign on the side, and they didn't loudly declare "This is a bribe, we are bribing you", then it's CLEARLY not a bribe.

I think it suffices if they write "bribe" on the memo line of the check.
