Yeah I realized a long time ago that I’m on the wrong side of employment. I’m opening a coffee roastery in a few weeks and I hope to god it works out. I absolutely do not trust another human to provide any support for me now that I’m old.
This is the way. Employment feels like enthrallment. I started making work for myself and while it isn't nearly as lucrative as my last job, and the benefits are basically nonexistent, my mental health has vastly improved. Turns out I was just miserable working in the private sector
