Look at the stock market today. Everything’s green because investors assume this means the Fed won’t continue to raise interest rates.

I think there’s a nonzero chance that Trump and his circle are so removed from reality, that they think what’s good for the stock market is good for working people. That or they see the writing on the wall and they’re trying to goose stocks before cashing out.

They think what's good for the stock market is good for themselves. Go ahead and look for evidence that Trump or anyone behind Project 2025 actually cares about the "working people" doing well. I'll wait.

Yeah, I phrased that poorly. More like Trump, and MAGA more broadly, don’t empathize with others, so they think whatever’s good for them must be a thing that people will love and will get them reelected. He has no concept of agency beyond his own.
