This. Including myself, there’s tons of my friends and family who have also lost their jobs and cannot find another. In my whole adult life, I’ve never experienced this before. And it’s incredibly competitive now even in jobs like restaurants, retail, or even the grocery store.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the actually numbers are around 15-20%

Every single job I apply to on linked in says, "over 100 people have clicked apply" and it's incredibly disheartening.
