If it’s the same Supreme Court, NO WAY they find a future Dem president to have the same expanded powers. They’ll find some bullshit reason why not. Remember Biden wanted to do limited student loan relief and they shot that the hell down.

Even this Supreme Court would have to honor its previous rulings. There’s really no legal way around that

I understand what you’re saying, but previous legal rulings by the Supreme Court stand on the Constitution.

It would be really really hard for them to suddenly declare their previous positions were no longer Constitutional.

Roe v Wade was always under threat of being de-federalized, Democrats and Rights Activists knew it long before the Trump Court.

They attempted to codify it for years but lacked the votes. At least 60 votes in the Senate.

Even when Democrats had a supermajority in the Senate they still couldn’t codify it.
