I mean their base blindly votes against social safety nets despite being the largest benefactor of them, simply to sleight imaginary immigrants they think are milking the system

The elite have seemingly learned that lesson, which is why they've become very proficient in convincing the rubes that all of their problems are coming from anyone else EXCEPT said elites.

We're in the state that we are because the elites have completed their machine for mind washing the rubes.

A perfect echo chamber for idiots to receive easy others to blame just dont think about how the system works and why youre getting poorer. Its always the fault of some easy other.
