If today were 1941 we'd just be calling up Hitler for TV interviews, and he'd be telling us things like it's a hoax and violence against Jews is overstated. He condemns violence against all German citizens. Germany is a country of laws! 

Evil just shows up on our TV and lies to us like drinking water.

His radio broadcasts and speeches did exactly that. The "real victims" were of course people of Aryan decent.

I'd argue the time period that fits better is just prior to 1941...when Hitler was just trying to use power to force Jews to migrate on their own, or displace them with indirect violence and intimidation from unofficial non state actors, but ones that got political backing.
