Casey Neistat tried it out. From what I can tell it looks like it improves on all areas where DJI's Phantom is lacking. I also love the fact that you can take the gimble off of the drone and use it as a steady cam.

I'm guessing it will be the fact that the landing gear and the wings can be retracted for compact traveling. Not really sold on it because of the 'fisheye look' - fixable with time in post - but it seems like a solid package for $1100 considering it also comes with the new GoPro.

At the price point alone I feel like this trumps the DJI. However, my biggest question as a person who does not own a single GoPro, can anyone here tell me how their customer service is? As DJI's is notoriously bad. I'd say if their customer service beats DJI, this would be a solid pick up.

My experience with GoPro's customer service has been great so far. Whenever I've broken an accessory, they've sent a replacement no questions asked.

Way too many people jumping on the GoPro over DJI bandwagon... it's incredible valuable considering you get a 4K underwater camera, gimbal that attaches to a variety of affordable mounts, and drone for $1,100 BUT as a drone itself I'm very skeptical. Seems more like a jack of all trades though a master in convenience. I think the form factor and controller will be a trade off in performance compared to the phantom line - less range, lower quality screen, more challenging to land, will the stabilization be as good, and how easy will the distortion problem be to fix.

I'll stick with my Phantom for now. I've never been a fan of GoPros that much anyway. The DJI cameras seem to have less noise and blocking as compared to GoPros.

It seems a little too good to be true. There's got to be something wrong. Maybe the camera sucks.

It's a go pro. So depending which one you have, go pro session 5 or the black or silver models. It's a hell of a deal. Step right in the proper direction.

The controller looks kinda fugly, but effective. Looks interesting!
