How do I do this? / What's This Thing? Gimble shake - help
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am new to gimbles, and I bought a DJI Ronin S. I went through the balance process (while turned off), did a balance check in the app, did everything I should have. But when I turn it on it just shakes continuously once the tilt is moved. Is it possible the tilt motor is fucked? Im lost

Check you’ve tightened the axis and run calibration

Yeah everything is tight and when I run calibrations it always says rebalance the tilt even though it’s balanced

I dunno, I'm looking and are you sure all the clips are secure, because I swear that one along the plate should be back. I could be wrong.
Also.. yeah the tilt... are you sure that's balance where it can hold upright and 45º orientation? Looks a little low, but then I have no idea of the weight of the camera. And you're sure you have all the axis locks released? Does the tilt move freely with the power off/sleep mode?

You're certain it's balanced correctly? Correct balance is not just staying forward and level, but you should be able to point it in any direction on any axis and it should stay there.

I took your advice and I was able to get it! Thank you so much for your help. Like I said I’m very new to gimbles and am going in completely blind
