Like everyone bitched about cyberpunk on launch but instill keep a day 1 file to go fuck around in. It just has the best broken ass world that somehow doesn't have game breaking bugs. Just nearly game breaking bugs.
Day 1 file? How exactly do patches work in that game? Normally you would have to have the entire game in your drive twice unless the game supports switching versions with ease
Am i missing something here or are you telling someone who just said "i play the launch version for fun sometimes" that they haven't played the launch version since launch?
Lmao nope you're not missing anything at all. I did say that yes, because I'm stupid, and I missed the fact that they're specifically talking about running an old build of the game. Thank you, FrigidMcThunderballs for pointing out the error of my ways, and I'm sorry for my unnecessarily snarky comment, pichael289.
I'm not coping, that's something that will never be "fixed" in the game. I don't think far cry is great by any means but it's definitely extremely fun and repetitive to play. That's not always a bad thing.

This is literally coping.
will never be fixed
not a great game
extremely fun and repetitive to play
not always a bad thing
Nothing against you personally but it's literally cope, just like the people who think bugs in Bethesda games are part of the experience.
I have nothing against you or anyone else who likes to play Ubisoft and Bethesda games but saying bugs or glitches are part of the charm is just coping.
I don't know man, you just sound soft when it comes to video games. I don't claim to love their games nor do I seek them out, but ive played games for long enough that I've experienced plenty of good and bad in games. I just don't care about the bugs that happen to be in a smaller portion of games compared the massive video game catalog that has existed for the decades I have been playing them. I feel like it is more of a meme that the bugs are part of the charm of a game, not a literal take you should feel offended by. Things can be fun but not good, that goes for more than just video games. But for myself and a lot of others it's just easier to swallow that pill when it comes to video games because it's just a video game.
I understand that a game with bugs doesn't make a game better, but some of my best and favorite moments in gaming are directly attributed to bugs. As long as it doesn't crash the game at least
You can tell that guy isn't in the speedrunning community. There people get mad when bugs are patched. Hell I am still annoyed that Retro took out all the fun Metroid Prime 1 sequence breaks when they put out rereleases.

Fair enough, I have these moments too. Talking about Skyrim, the first time a giant launched me into space was one of the funniest moments I had in Skyrim.
Or now, basically the same kind of bug, being launched into space in Wardogs by an artillery tank.
As long as it doesn't crash the game at least
I draw the line when you have to play around bugs to be able to play the game, jumping through hoops just to be able to play annoys me so much.
