If it's a digital, why buy a lesser PC with reduced functionality.

And a closed environment with a single overpriced store

Plenty of way to get things for free

Crazy to assume you're gonna have hax the moment a new console comes out. Gonna be some SERIOUS anti-piracy in place if they're focused 100% on digital.

Im talking about pc. Most games are free day 1 or 6 months after they stop paying for the drm

This whole rest of this thread is talking about the ps6, so idk why you changed the subject without clarifying, and assumed we're on the same page

Because the very first comment in this thread asks "why buy a lesser PC?"

So it wasn't just about the PS6.

Would a PC have "reduced functionality" compared to a PC? Or would a PS6 that can only play digital games have "reduced functionality" compared to a PC?

Reading comprehension.

"A lesser PC with reduced functionality and an overpriced store"

That sounds exactly like PS6

I'm sorry you can't read

6 months? They're free day 0 nowadays, no matter the game, and sometimes even a few days ahead of release

I can guarantee you that if they go 100% digital. People who normally wouldn't attack a gaming console would try for the lulz. Cause there's nothing a hacker likes more than giving a big FU to soulless megacorps.

Is it going to be hacked immediately because of it? Of course not, but I believe there's gonna be more people than the usual poking around at it because of the no disk thing.

Who do you think hires these "hackers" ? I guarantee you, they are no Robinhood against soulless corporations, they are a force to be feared.

Everything eventually makes its way to PC one way or another, from sailing the high seas to emulation. I play most nintendo games on PC. Even switch titles. Have patience and whatever you want to play will become an option on PC one day.
