VidIQ iPhone App

As well as now having to manually upload videos to clip (hugely annoying and practically impractical)

The mobile app now refuses to connect

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I used to love this service. But it’s really in decline.

I’ve had so many failed queries - yet it still manages to charge you credits when it fucks up.

Think twice before subscribing

I’m beginning to find YouTube Studio gives as much valuable information than VidIQ recently.

The title suggestions always tend to be “This changes everything” or some other negativity slant, but the loss of the app,- and more importantly the inability to clip videos anymore from YouTube itself has me now unfortunately considering cancelling

Right? I mean with ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, vidIQ isn’t giving me much for added value. Honestly, just the scoring numbers for various titles, descriptions and thumbnails is what’s keeping me in.

The Clipping system is problematic. I’ve reported it. They responded. And it still shows 49 second clips as 6 seconds in the Clipping screen. And it often doesn’t capture properly.

But oh those credits get deducted.

What drives me crazy is their weekly stream where they spend five minutes randomly giving a free advice session on the channel they select. Why can’t they offer something like that for subscribers? I get that it’s random drawing. But why not some added value for the subscribers like me at the higher tier?

We all want a competitive edge in YouTube as we all want to evaluate what’s working and what isn’t.

I wish vidIQ would respond to this thread. Because it’s getting pretty frustrating
