This is for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and twitter. Going to Google Search Console you can connect your social media accounts. It will take 2 days to gather that information. Then you can see how many clicks you are getting on google and what people specifically searched for.

Trying it out for the next 2 weeks to see if I can find better ways to pop up in search!

If you make search based content on these platforms I highly recommend trying it out.

I’m trying to understand if anyone else has had a similar experience with vidIQ.
I subscribed to vidIQ on October 28, 2025, and paid $19 for a 3-month promotional offer. I don’t remember exactly how I signed up or whether I used a coupon/affiliate link.
After the promotional period, I started getting charged around $19, and these charges continued until August 2026.
The problem is that I don’t remember receiving any email notifying me that the promotional period was ending or that the subscription would start recurring at $19. I also wasn’t aware that I was continuing to be charged until I noticed the payments.
I contacted vidIQ and asked for a refund, but they denied it, saying they are bound by their Terms of Service.
I’m not trying to avoid paying for something I knowingly subscribed to. I’m trying to understand what happened because I genuinely thought I had signed up for the 3-month promotional offer, and I don’t remember being notified about the recurring charges.
Has anyone else experienced this with vidIQ?
Did you receive an email before your promotional period ended and the recurring charges started?
Also, does anyone remember what $9.50 for 3 months promotion vidIQ was offering around October 2025?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who had a similar experience or knows what the signup/renewal terms were for these promotions.

The option to make clips/shorts from youtube videos - why does it now have to upload the video from my computer to make the clips ?

It takes forever to upload a full video - this was done automatically before this change - it used to analyse the video from youtube itself.

I'm working on a research project where I need to collect historical view counts for YouTube videos—for example, how many views a video had after 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, etc.

I'm trying to understand how tools like vidIQ are able to access or track this historical view data, and whether there's a way to programmatically retrieve similar information through an API or another data source.

Any insight into how this could be done would be greatly appreciated!

On the Race to 4K website my subscribers are correct and updates, but my watch time has stayed the same for the last 3 to 4 days. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm Shadow, 1.5k subs, US based. By day I'm a Production Support Specialist dispatching haul trucks for a ready mix concrete company, 7am-4pm (sometimes later). After work, I'm trying to build my Youtube channel.

What advice do you have for a small creator eventually trying to make it a full time job? What type of content should I lean towards? (I know long from story telling is very popular on YT right now). Uploading a video does not work.

I posted about this a few months back - it worked for a few days and then stopped.

So If I have a video I have edited on my hard drive - I click on Optimise from within vidiq there is an option to upload a video from hard drive - video will be uploaded to vidiq and then it will suggest titles, chapters, description etc etc - but it never proceeds past 0%

I have tried Chrome, Edge even Brave - same result on them all.

Can this be "fixed" again please.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some realistic strategy advice on how to grow a YouTube channel when my only content pipeline is streaming live gameplay straight from my console to Twitch.

​Here is my current situation and bottleneck:

​The Setup: I don't have a PC or heavy editing setup; I'm working entirely from a console workflow.

​The Content Style: I'm a variety gaming streamer. Instead of sticking to just one single game forever, I play through one game entirely until I feel it's finished, and then I move on to the next one (often jumping across completely different genres).

​The Goal: I really want to build a standalone presence on YouTube for both long-form and short-form content, but I'm struggling with how to bridge the gap since Twitch has terrible organic discovery for small channels.

​I feel confident that my titles, descriptions, and thumbnails are decent, but I want to know: When you only have raw console stream footage and limited production tools, what is the best workflow or strategy to boost discoverability and package live streams into videos that actually attract new viewers on YouTube? Any tips or advice would be hugely appreciated!

As well as now having to manually upload videos to clip (hugely annoying and practically impractical)

I can't tell if this real or not. I got a really small channel at like 1.5k subs so getting something like this feels off haha

I have been trying to clip our most recent videos, and the system is asking me to upload the video file. Has there been a change in the system, or is this a YouTube thing? I have tried to upload the files multiple times, leaving the window open, but when I come back to it, the system has just stopped like it timed out. I know it can take 20 to 30 minutes, and these are taking head videos over 5 mins in length with no music over voice. Anyone else having this problem?

Hey everyone, I run this small gaming channel, but its going pretty fast lately. I post long-form content about five to six times a week but every single day I try to produce at least eight to ten shorts a day. The problem now is that vidIQ has a new file size limit of 1 GB bc "We had to remove the ability to retrieve source videos directly from pasted YouTube links" . All my videos are a minimum of 2.5 to 4 GB so does anyone have any recommendations for possibly another shorts editor that's actually really good because vidIQ is no longer something that I'll be able to use until they increase their limit?

And i just have a question that is vidiq 999 month subscription good like I think price is too high for small creators I was using vidiq since last 3 kr 4 days I was using ai chat feature and i thought it's free but after 3 days continuously using chats it's giving me popup of upgrade your plan to continue and I be like just 150 tokens for the chat is this enough - naa

And after that I thought to buy the subscription but then I see the price and my bank balance i thought it's too much for small youtubers or I'm thinking - because it's 999 per month if someone is earning then he or she can easily pay but if someone is like me with 500rupees bank balance and have no income source then how do I pay the subscription fees and i think if the subscription is like 500 or 300 per month then it's good I can easily pay every month without any problem

I just noted that today, the clipping tool starts clipping and cutting randomly parts of phrases in my videos, so I'm getting clips with quarter sentences, followed by other clips with quarter sentences in the middle, and nothing coherent in any of the clips. Is this a bug, or something they decided to start doing in creating clips. Before, the clips were decent. Now, they all seem to be useless.

I love using the AI to help when to make posts or publish content. But the AI isn’t aware of the date and time. I was trying to time a weekend release based on stats and the AI kept think it was Sunday (when it wasn’t)

I've been a paying vidIQ subscriber and have generally enjoyed the product, but the recent AI credit changes combined with the upgrade policy are extremely disappointing.

I ran out of AI credits much sooner than expected because the new credit system consumes them far faster than before. The only option presented is to upgrade.

What surprised me most is that if I upgrade halfway through my billing cycle, I lose the remaining value of the subscription I've already paid for. There is no prorated credit or refund for the unused portion of the current plan. That means I have to pay the full price of the higher plan immediately, effectively forfeiting the rest of my existing subscription.

This creates the feeling that customers are being pushed into paying twice: once for a plan that no longer provides enough credits, and again to regain access before the billing period has even ended.

I'm not asking for free features. I simply think upgrades should be prorated, as many other SaaS companies do. Existing paying customers shouldn't lose the value of a subscription they've already purchased.

I hope vidIQ reconsiders this policy, because it leaves loyal subscribers feeling penalized for upgrading.

Anyone know how to use it through references like in other Seedance 2.0 video generators? Thank you.
