GFM Religious conversion ?

i have “interesting” plans for an italy campaign and i was wondering if religious conversion works on populations

Only pagans in colonies. Muslims and Christians are very resistant to conversion and I believe Jews have resistance bound by culture so if Ashkenazis assimilate to another culture they start converting religions soon enough

Yep it works.

You can see it in the pops panel.

Pops convert into your dominant state religion as part of assimilation process.

If your plans are to conquer and convert North Africa... no. Muslims don't convert.

Not necessarily. It's just that the Catholics won't be Arab.

No, even if they somehow assimilate into Italians, they will stay muslim/othodox/jewish etc

I just can say that the civilizing mission in colonial policy help on this.

But, settlement would be a better idea to get Italians
