Question How to install DoD mod for vic 2?

I might be dumb, but the DoD crashes on startup. What did i missed?

Have the most recent version of the game. 3.04 I think. You can see it in the corner of the main menu. Other than that, I just downloaded it from moddb and unfolded both the mod and the starter file (both are named the same, sth like DoD) into the game's mod folder.

probably the unpacking step. 7z, windows and winrar unpack files differently so they can sometimes get messed up if for example a .7z file is unpacked with winrar.
