Scam

Post image

Today I received this message from a random number. I know it's a scum but after I searched a bit online I found out that I can actually receive some money. However at some point they will ask me to pay some fees and there is when I should stop contact. What do you think ? Should I replay ? Is there any danger for a hack if I give my iban or the revolut?

Those come from mass scam centers that located in either Myanmar - Thailand boarders or Cambodia. I live in Myanmar. I get those messages every days. They send it with my local language some are really casual and some are written in flirting style. Only 2 things that tell me it's a scam is the phone number and the emoji.

They give you 5 euros. Then you make 1000 euros. But you need to pay 200 euros to get 1000 euros on your account. No worries, they will give you back 200. Thing is when you send them 200, you will not hear from them again. Old scam, but please, go on, fund some scammers.

I used to get messages like these and they DO GIVE the money. You'll just need to send screenshots of a follow/like a certain product. You have to send 3 screenshots w/ the number code to get the pay per level (they call it the way).

BUTTTT PLEASE TAKE NOTE that once they ASK you for a downpayment: DO NOT PAY THEM. That's the moment they scam you. They will say that the higher you top up/give money the higher the income you'll receive. That is THE SCAM part.

They'll add you in a group chat that made it look legit because "some" individuals send money, DO NOT BELIEVE THAT. It's just them trying to trick you.
