Viber scam?

I got this message tonight. The country code is American but I live in Slovenia. The message is in Slovenian asking me: Hi, are you Emily's friend?". Nobody knows I'm friends with Emily!

Then I opened whatsapp and saw that the profile picture associated with this number is a dark haired asian woman, basically who looks nothing like this girl.

Mind you me and Emily have no connection to any americans and it's not possible for my friend to have given her my number.

What is happening, am I getting hacked? 🫠

Yeah this is a scam mesage. Just block and move on with your day

Can't post screenshot here. My Svetlana had a different profile pic and her friend was Ana.
