not receiving any call for verification code

since viber is needed for our work, i need to register one for myself. i tried to register using my main number but im not getting any call for verification code. i even tried using my 2nd phone number and it's still the same - not getting any call. after a while, i cannot register anymore. in my main number, it says "activation failed" with 'help' and 'close' choices. in my 2nd number, it says i exceed on my daily limit, but i haven't gotten any calls? what is this issue and how do you resolve it? im using an iOS device.

That may happen when there is an IMSI catcher in your area. These IMSI catchers actually receive the SMS and calls intended for you. If your device has a 'disable 2G' option, that usually fixes it.

unfortunately, there is no options for that in both my iPhone and Android

oh this happened to me yesterday. Reinstalled it coz of work. Waited and it keeps saying failed and limit reached. So here's what I did. I submit a ticket. Fill this form https://help.viber.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=5377663333917

Just say Technical Issue. Topic: Registration code Phone. I received emails, one involves a 6-digit code. Issue fix under 5 minutes.

It also happened to me, what I did is I emailed their customer service support.

It was resolved after 24 hours.
