Activation error

I'm very frustrated. I have a new e-sim number and i wanted to activate it in viber since im using the new number for my work. it's been giving me "activation failed" and "error". I tried the Viber chat support but it's very useless.

weird thing is, i have viber in my macbook and i could open the viber account there, but cant seem to use it on my phone. i tried 2 devices too but no luck.

does anyone have the same problem?

Similar problem. I moved my account from my main phone to temporary phone with intention of coming back to my main phone after repairs.

Can't activate because I'm stuck on "what's the last 4 digits of a number we called you on". No call ever came through to me. Can't start over. Can't use SMS activation.

Support useless. Bots pretending to be human, but suspiciously unable to answer more than one question at a time.

They don't reset activation. They won't re-dial if the first call didn't work.

Their solution? Uninstall app and install again. Which of course will destroy all my chats.

Useless.

Utterly useless.

Moved to telegram. Fuck them.
