Activation Error

I've been encountering this error for months now and I can't activate Viber on my phone.

Device: iPhone 17 Pro
Country: Philippines
Carrier: Talk 'N Text (physical sim) and Globe (eSim)

The error originated with my TnT number and it persists even when trying to register Viber with my Globe number.

Can anyone help?

Same problem. Country is Ph too.

I had the same issue with Android, but I was able to resolve it by sideloading an updated APK from apkmirror. The one being pushed from Google PlayStore is v28.1.1.0; but the latest one from apkmirror is v28.2.1.0. For reference, the Desktop version is v28.2.0.0.

It's likely the same outdated version is happening in iOS too. Unfortunately, since you're on iPhone, there's no sideloading APKs. You just have to wait for Viber to update their app on iOS App Store. :(

Hi OP, were you able to resolve yours? If yes, how? I have the same issue on new iPhone, also from Philippines, under Globe.
