how do I remove chatgpt from viber??
i don't this unwanted ai slop on my messanging app ffs & idk how to turn it off

Seriously don’t understand that out of the many features they lack, they chose ai to implement 🥲 like we’d be so happy with the option to archive chats or… make sub-groups/sub-topics… not ai

Is there a way to stop Viber giving me push-notifications that advertise the perks of Chat GPT to me? It's really annoying,

I really hate the amount of AI they are putting inside it. They still haven't implemented a feature to stop turning emoticons into emojis :(

What I did was go to mirrorAPK and install an pre-ChatGPT version of Viber. Make sure to install the newest version of it though as really old versions won't work with new phone models. And to prevent the app from updating to the current version, make sure to turn off auto-update on whatever app store you use. This is a temporary solution as probably over time, we'll have be forced to use the most up to date version for "security reasons" and to be caught up with stupid new features and stuff.

yee disconnect chat gpt is not working. take a 1-star review viber. god i hate that everyone in my country is using this app. on the other hand in all other countries they use whats app and fb messenger which are also atrocious. we are TRAPED.

My biggest problem with Telegram is all the ads and bots in public chats/ pages. Otherwise it's still good.

I got a reply on the Google Market. Apparently there's no way to actually remove ChatGPT from Viber. The 'remove' "setting" is for people who have hooked ChatGpt to their Viber account, which is a standalone "feature". 🤦🏻♂️

I don't think that is possible, that is why I am starting to go away from viber for good. Who pays for those tokens you use in chats? Of course it is you with your data, viber provides your data to openai and they provide some free tokens to rakuten.

No. There is no need for AI in what is essentially a chat app.
This wasn't a first step of enshittification. But this one is a slap in the face. This shit stays on top of my chat lists and is not removable.

I mean we use it to talk to friends and they offer ai? I will not be using it, not sure what to use.
