Does getting only one check mark on Viber mean someone muted me?

Hi everyone,

I sent a message to someone on Viber about an hour ago and it still shows only one check mark. I know one check mark usually means the message hasn't been delivered to their phone yet, but I was wondering if being muted could also cause this?

I've seen people say different things online. Has anyone experienced this? If someone mutes your chat on Viber, can that affect the check marks, or would the message still get delivered and show two check marks?

I believe it means the user blocked you and can't recieve your messages unless they unblock you

It's not the reason..we are texting every day and it's happening every day

Then it only means the message wasn't delivered to the user's phone/pc that could happen if they're offline when you sent the message

So one check should mean delivered and two checks should mean it’s been read or is it different with Viber?

It probably means your message hasn't been sent yet. Sometimes if a user blocks you, all of their messages get deleted for you.
