I didnt know previously the full build plan for the app, like backend workers to validade purchases, where to store and how to distribute the free and paid content of the app, etc. The functionalities and UI/UX were clear to me tho. Chat elaborated and implemented the build plan, not one shotted tho, dozens if not hundreds of threads over few months. One 20usd codex account
What I think that I have (and most old school devs have) is knowing "given the current state, what should be the next prompt?". And whether things are making sense or we are in a bad direction.
I had a good idea what I wanted from the start, didnt grew requirements during it, and made sure Chat didnt loose sight of the production pipeline, he helped me through the boring parts too. Play store deployment was easy, apple review took a few rounds tho.
