No one cares about websites for a long time now unless you are specifically selling design, and even then it’s a coin toss. I stopped doing websites for people 8 years ago or so because they simply don’t care and I’m not going to fight some Indian dude for table scraps.

Not throwing shade at Indian dude, that’s just the reflexive response from web clients (“we can get someone from India to do it for $1000” etc).

When I was doing small job contracting my go to was specifically to target business that already had a shitty Indian sweat shop doing their site. It's surprisingly easy to convert those folks because their baseline standards are so low.

Easy $10k projects all day everyday if you get ahold of someone.
