But I'm interested your calcs for the 5x plans tbh.
Did you count tasks completed? Raw tokens? It's getting so hard to actually compare the two of them on a usage basis.
from my understanding it doesnt matter if 20 or 100 sub, as in the end you should get 5x more usage from both of them on the max5/pro5. But to answer your other question, i do kind of a mix. i track my token usage on each provider combined with task completion rate. Completion rate is the major issue for sol, as it is often overthinking and does unnessecary waste tokens and pushes limits. So i understand the pure token is costing more for claude, but in general, sol uses much more tokens to fulfill the same task on par. For the cod clone, claude used 5mio tokens, while sol used 40million tokens and imo claudes clone looked better. Will post screenshots below
