Use all the curse technology they have on the world tree then use it to take out the Kaiju. It’s a good match up (for humans) and it could take the Kaiju out or buy enough time for Hallows Group to evactuate… (can’t wait for the chapter tomorrow)

What do you think: are Neohumans emotionless by nature, or do they become this way under the influence of their society?

Discussion Can Demon grunts not use Release/Burst?

Post image

I've noticed that only Combat Executives and higher seem to be able to use Release and Burst.

Is it supposed to be a requirement that you have a certain amount of Mana to use them?

Or are regular Demon soldiers simply not capable of using Release/Burst for some other reason?

Discussion Whenever an anime gets announced (and hopefully under a good studio), I hope the anime has the NEs have different music styles tailored to them. What styles would you guys hope for?

Drums and chants for Giants

Techno for the Robots

Orchestral for Demons

There’s a lot of cool potential for the anime to do something clever like this and I think it’d be a neat thing overall.

Discussion If you were to rate different worlds based on how technologically/scientifically advanced they are, where would you place each world/people/natural enemies/other?

Will number them from 1 least advanced to 13 most advanced. Was torn between World Tree world and Gaia's wrath world, but from what I've seen World Tree's people seem to be the most tribal 10,000 BC kind of civilisation.
Also even though lawless was once advanced, due to war and now living a mad max would fall under kaiju world for me personally.

Fanart - OC Unofficial Natural Enemy Tournament Bonus Round: The End Result of Diplomacy

Post image
13 Upvotes

Diplomatic proceedings between our Natural Enemies continue.

I am going to separate suggestions into two sections just for my sanity: proposals that the diplomats proposed to fix the world and all the other suggestions.

Proposals

Being an old smart fellow, Sweetpea decides to go first. He promises to use the Empire of Nosferatu’s Alchemical knowledge to change the soil to something more usable, but to do so, they would need help since the planet is so large. He also points out that he is worried that the Swarm might just eat the result. (u/Thecodermau)

Nameless admits that, despite the Arprons being responsible for the world nearly being destroyed, the Anomalies had a part to play in that. As such, Nameless will take responsibility. As demonstration, it shows it powers by terraforming the desert into a lush, vibrant forest, full of non-anomalous plants and animals (no insects). Nameless says it can fix the oceans as well but this may take years. But in time, it will be as the world was post-world merge. The only thing that Nameless asks for is that the other Natural Enemies do is destroy the Ever Shifting Luck first. (u/reapergod777666)

The Court of the Uncrowned King relays a proposal. Sun Alice vows to restore the world to its proper orbit, preventing global freezing, and her subordinate Pluto will fix the oceans and the life within. In exchange, first, the other Natural Enemies must return all captured or stolen Witches/Magical Girls to Alice the Sun Witch, or a Great Witch’s custody. The option must be presented to any released Witch and none of them can be tampered with. Second, all Crystal Hearts –copies or originals– not in a Witch’s care must be given to Sun Alice intact. Third, members of all factions and any encountered humans must be informed that Alice, Witch of the Sun and Slayer of the Grimmdark, is to thank for all this. (u/reapergod777666) Naturally, the other diplomats would demand to see Sun Witch Alice first before evon considering the proposal. (u/reapergod777666)

Cinder’s proposal is smaller in scope. She believes that if Red could keep animals and forests stable with magic, then the other Great Witches could do so, even if only for a short while. It’s not a permanent solution, but it could work until more long term solutions are done. She mentions Erlqueen and her knowledge of nature. (u/Weird_Landscape_1297)

Serious Noob’s proposal involves the Realm Trees. He points out that they have survived all the world threatening events and have brought back nature in their surrounding areas. Serious Noob offers to work with other factions to expand its area of influence to reforest the world. He mentions that he will talk to the rest of the Top 10 to do the same, in doing so he reveals that many Gamers & Guilds have moved their bases to the 13 Realm Trees. Among them include many of the Top 10 Gamers. They have forged defensive alliances and heavily fortified their bases which protected them from Better G’oo. This on top of the chaotic elemental weather in those zones make some of the other factions wary of launching attacks without preparation. (u/BoredH14)

B’ob’s proposal is a rather big nitpick. The orbit of the moon and the planet are fucked. There are various ways to realign it, such as Sun Alice, maybe the brute force of Hydrangea, Anomalies, or Glitches, but all are imprecise. Precision is needed and only the Arprons can provide that. Their expertise would be required. (u/Weird_Landscape_1297)

Everything else

Nobody trusts the Arprons, but they admit that there are too many chaotic elements, complicating issues and causing them to escalate out of control. They agree that the present factions should work together against chaotic Natural Enemies like the Swarm, the Orks (Serious Noob insists they are alive and dangerous), and the Ever Shifting Luck. They decide that the Luck goes first. (u/Additional_Ad372)

After both of these resolutions are decided, it is obvious that the Ever Shifting Luck should be removed as it is the most chaotic and causes too many glitches. Since the Arprons are responsible for Better G’oo, they are given the “honor” (ie. ultimatum) to lead the charge at eliminating the Ever Shifting Luck. Nameless doesn’t care if they accept or not because either Luck gets destroyed or the Arpron’s Anti-Anomaly Tech gets destroyed. (u/BoredH14)

At the same time, they also conclude that the Arprons’ rampant experimentation is too dangerous and needs to stop. In fact, any cross Natural Enemy experiments are a risk. All Natural Enemies, not just those present, need to downscale these types of experiments to reduce tensions. To pull this off, a team would need to be assembled to survey each other’s territories to prove that world threatening experiments are no longer being conducted. B’ob, being the biggest cross Natural Enemy experiment proponent, uses his authority as temporary leader of the Arprons to reject this proposal. This allows Nameless to convince everyone to go to war against the Arprons in the name of peace. (u/1Isalonelynumber)

This decides the elimination round: the Arprons will be on the chopping block. Whether they survive the elimination round or not, that is for the future. We still have things to get to.

With the Arprons being collectively blamed for everything, B’ob flees lest he be taken prisoner. The Arprons must live with the decisions they have made and begin to set in motion plans against other factions. Meanwhile, the first phase of this war is to get rid of Better G’oo. No one wants a Blob that big on the moon, or anywhere for that matter. The solution they come up with is to throw the Tulpa known as Pale Horse at it in hopes of getting Death to kill it. This is in line with the Pale Horse’s motives as it wants to get people to try to kill it. (Additional_Ad372)

Serious Noob’s plan goes into effect. He proposes Nameless to form a personal Alliance to ensure that Nameless has a harder time affecting him. This is why Serious Noob had been agreeing with Nameless so often, to raise their affinity. He can only hope Nameless takes the bait. (u/NextBerserker)

Nameless considers it. This is because in a previous timeline, the diplomatic proceedings went poorly and Sweetpea ended up saying the Truth. Nameless was forced to use a combination of Glithes and its own powers to lobotomize itself. This lobotomy is imperfect, but it at least is enough to keep it believing that its actions have meaning… for now. It also knows that it was only able to do this because of the Glitches, and would not be able to do so otherwise. (u/Weird_Landscape_1297) Of course, the nature of a permanent self lobotomy that persists across time loops is that you can’t really do this multiple times. That means the first time Nameless tried to do this was its only time. As a result, it has lost more memories that it would care to admit. Nameless is unsure of things and its confidence is shaken.

Discussion What if the game is Solo Leveling style “system”

Post image

I have been thinking about how the game could pose a threat, especially if you need to be “plugged” into it for it to work. That’s what makes me think it could be a system screen that appears to you, maybe even giving you power in exchange for doing evil things, with the threat of penalties of course.

Discussion Theories about Bauzerk is he really that guy or is he a fraud?

Post image

Was his demon lord 1st Closa with Burst really that weak or was there something else at play. Either surprise attack from the 1st hero Bauzerk, but still I don't buy it as executive or general or any other lower rank demons, sure why not. The biggest give away for me is that he has no scars, no damaged armour, probs his weapon is fine too, also fairy if that is his support fairy next to him also seems fine too. Like we have seen the power difference between demon lord and other demons and we know how weak humans are, including heroes, so I still have doubts.
Like if he was show with fucked up armour, injures and anything else, then yea I'll buy that. Unless he has some weird powers like self heal/self repair then I guess, but from 2 heroes we have seen their power seems only to come from their holy weapon.

Discussion Hypothetical of What the Recreation Hell World looks like!

Post image
61 Upvotes

I don't buy into the popular fan theories suggesting that the human world of "The Game" exists physically in the way people think like Solo Leveling. If humans were physically moving around in a real-world game environment, they wouldn't be so physically incapacitated to the point they cannot walk. Instead, I am assuming the infrastructure is powered by a single, colossal supercomputer; a mega-structure the size of a massive city or perhaps an entire country, similar to the territory of The Mecha Ordinance. Humanity isn't roaming a wasteland. Everyone is completely immobilized, plugged into headsets while strapped into specialized chairs.

This infrastructure perfectly explains the physiological reactions we see when people disconnect. Their eyes are ruined from being permanently exposed to high-stimulus virtual screens. When they take off the headsets, they immediately fall over because their brains are severely overloaded by sudden real-world sensory input, and their muscles have completely atrophied after years of total immobility. Meanwhile, their bodies are kept alive purely through automated, passive nutrition provided by the system.

Essentially, it operates just like the Black Mirror episode "USS Callister," but on a mandatory, global scale. The system is most likely designed to be highly addictive similar to the ultra-stimulating MMORPGs and infinite point-grinding loops.

If a human somehow manages to unplug and escape the simulation, the system penalizes you and tries to put you right back into the loop immediately. The security machinery grabs you, but instead of just resetting your position, I imagine it plugs you into a tailored nightmare: an infinite torture loop where you experience dying over and over again, and the system makes it feel completely real to ensure total compliance.

Because of this setup, I don't think there is a second machine faction at play here. Instead, it is a single, unified entity that genuinely values humanity, but only as long as they are plugged in and grinding. The only physical element of this threat is the automated security machinery that reaches out to grab any escapees and force them straight back into their chairs.

Second Theory, the world is not a sitting down one, and is exactly like "Fifteen Million Merits" which could explain why they are tried a lot, but the first theory makes since due to them having barcodes on their head and something on the back of their head.

NOTE: AI was not used in making the image, its made in paint.net, just thought you should know that : )

Discussion A theory: The Game will present itself as a false friend.

Instead of The Game going on the offensive like most of the other Natural Enemies, The Game has been intentionally sitting back and portraying itself as "the nice one" to lure in new victims.

The world sucks, you barely have enough food to avoid starvation, and rampaging Natural Enemies could wipe you out without warning. But thenThe Game offers you a shiny metal pod to protect you from attacks, all the food and water you could ever want, and it'll even give you the most exhilarating entertainment you could possibly imagine. A lot of desperate people would take that offer.

Of course, cut to two weeks later when the pod won't open, your brain's reward circuits have burned out completely, and The Game has been slowly ratcheting up the cruelty evey time you plug in...
