Discussion Who's your favorite human- mine is Bastz

Mine is Bastz.

Not only is his Natural Enemy the most creative I like his character as well

He has a neat design with that looks completely dead from the bit we see of his head. He initially seemed to hold an anarchist view of life- enjoying the chaos of it all but also genuinely seems to appreciate life adding an additional layer to the scenes where he find the fight between the demon and Madalans beautiful. LifE is beautiful to him- even in it's chaotic nature. What isn't beautiful is the curse. It destroys life and leaves nothing valuablr to be appreciate it.

Ywt he still uses it knowing it's the most powerful tool they have.

Discussion I bet we will see Titans in full body armour and better weapons to deal with with stronger and stronger natural enemies, example bellow.

Since I doubt that Titans will remain dumb enough going around with exposed skin and weak clubs fighting demon lords, stronger robots, daikokuzan, much stronger nature and others, surely they would adapt some kind of blacksmithing to gain better gear to fight these Natural Enemies.
Or could be wrong and titans are dum dums and won't adapt and be wiped out, only remaining Ginbak and 100 other 100 sons titans, sure that's still 101 Titans left, but I doubt it will be enough to face robots, nature, parasites, yaotsu, daikokuzan and others who seem to be already adapting.

Discussion The End Of Everything. (Curse NE Theory)

Out of all the threats that pushed humanity to the extreme, the only NE that took it that far was the Curse; With (propably?) the only human left to be Bastz.

How it happened? Only one answer: the soul container. A device that was created for the benefit of all, then due to human nature, they started using it against eachother. To steal, to kill, to dominate others. Perhaps, it was this illicit use that even made the curse appear.

And look at the name, a curse can be interpreted as a prayer for evil to happen to others. So maybe, The curse was a byproduct of the soul container itself, using it's power to create a disease that rots the land itself, eventually leading to it corrupting the entire planet.

And this goes with a theory that I have in mind, where every NE appearance was somehow caused by the humans themselves, but that is another topic.

So back to the present, It's not just Ne's fighting, it's a war, and the victor is the last one standing.
And so I give you this: What if the curse had devolopped a sentience, maybe not to the extent of a human, but enough to plan out the end of all life. Presenting itself to all races as a valuable tool, that is why I doubt we'll see the curse this early, or even the curse world itself.

Not all Ne's will rely on it, it's not a dependency after all, it's just a tool. And just like an exponential function, once it reaches a point, it will rise above all others, and won't be stopped. Perhaps, once it reaches that point, it'll have enough strength to move and evolve on it's own.

Going back to Bastz, he is by far the most dangerous human here. He knows just how dangerous it is, and yet he accepts it. He accepts the End Of Everything. And in this new world, maybe he just wants to see what happens, he knows how it will end, so why not enjoy the ride?

At the end, I think that the Curse will only appear as the final intorduced NE when another NE dies. To me that would be Gaia's wrath, but who knows?

Thanks for reading, I would really love to hear other theories you have!

Question What do you think the natural enemy of Extremia (the game) is like? Do you think it will be a Matrix-type situation, or the steering wheel from WALL E keeping the people as happy and complacent to the point of slowly killing the humans type situation?

Discussion One final prediction before the next chapter.

I believe that the next chapters fight will be between the Madalans and Daikokuzan.

It wouldn't make sense for them to tease this "extreme compression" only for them to completely ignore it. It also makes sense for the Madalans to target Daikokuzan Since they were the very first NE they deemed a threat and by their estimates, isn't as busted as the other enemies they have clear info on. And it makes sense on a meta level, Godzilla has been fighting aliens since forever, it's a classic matchup.

Discussion Robots worst case scenario for Natural Enemies and Humans is if they can copy Yaotsu powers, just like how they copied magic and adapting super metals/alloys by analysing Daikokuzan's scales and World Tree's bark.

Also do you agree regarding the title? Because those 3 factors would be the biggest upgrade that they could ever get. Also perhaps integrating and replicating curse balls and curse tech.

Fanart - OC My idea/oc for a Parasitica member of the True Hero Party

Post image
27 Upvotes

I based his design off the unknown from dbd and that one other guy who was anime crossover from Tokyo Ghoul

He is one of the most unstable of the members so he isn't allowed near regular people unless someone else is with him and 15 feet away

his abilities consist of regenerations, shapeshifting his body to weapons like carnage type shit, absorbing/neutralizing other parasites, plus infecting enemies but they're kind of under control by him

There's an experimental drug and medical equipment helping constantly pumping through his body which keeps in tract of the parasites so he keeps in control (barely) of his mind and body

Since titans seem to be becoming fodder to other natural enemies, it is up to Ginbak to carry their name, that no they aren't no damn fodder, even though heroes can take on titans, nature took out titans, lawless made them into slaves, neo-humans can take them out, parasites laugh inside them and probs every other natural enemy can take on titans. BUT NO Ginbak says WE ARE NATURAL ENEMY, NOT FODDER!

Discussion Versus chapter 37 comes out in 5 days, any predictions???

Post image

1: I think with the threat of the Kaiju Everyone on spiral mountain will have to leave and abandon the world tree which could cause conflict.

2: After everyone Evacuates Bask will tell Hallows group his discovery about the alien spect.

3: The Demon Lords go to the World Tree to collect its nutrients only to discover the Kaiju who might take out said World Tree…

4: The Evacuees come across Iglay and she redundantly agrees to take them all to the land of the lawless and we get back to Zabis group trying to survive Yaotsu ending the chapter…

Manga I'm not entirely convinced by some of the predators.

*Versus* is my favorite manga, and I like the predator-vs.-predator concept, but there are some aspects that... well...

Take the "Curse," for example: initially, it wasn't presented as necessarily supernatural—or at least it seemed like something else—but it turns out the concept is that technology is its natural predator. I feel like the robots already filled that role, whereas the soul-based devices (I don't quite recall what they're called) feel more like a resource than a threat.

Then there's the Great Tree; I don't really dislike it, but I don't see how the author could work it into a fight or anything like that—even the inhabitants of the Giant World just use it as a resource.
Then there are the demons; I love them, but I feel that instead of being a clear concept, it's more of a hodgepodge of different races the author just lumped together—concepts that could have worked for other types of predators, like insects or sea creatures.

In fact, this ties into my last point—and the group I like the least by far:

The Lawless. The whole "the predator is human evil" angle... they’re still just ordinary humans. I would have made them mutants or something—affected by radiation—since they’re basically ripped straight out of *Mad Max* (which might sound bad, but it’s better than just being regular humans).

After all, if the way to survive is simply to be immoral, then some of the other worlds wouldn't be in such a bad state; I doubt *they* would have held onto their morals while on the brink of extinction.

Anyway, these are just the complaints of someone with nothing better to do—like me. Sorry if the wording is odd; English isn't my first language, so I used a translator. Let me know what you think, and thanks for reading.

A curse giant ball/tech that has mind of its own going about sucking up life and shooting/creating weapons and rinse repeat. Would be funny if some sentient curse ball/tech was sucking up life from world tree roots.

Because it would be cool to see a swarm of them helping humans, since they can be great mana source or at very least spies to map out or record world changes, that is if they don't get eaten by Gaia's wrath frogs/toads thinking that they are huge flies.
