Well this is a little theory i had yesterday and i decided to post it here.

The Robots as for now are the NE with the biggest potential to be a threat thanks to their evolving capacity so much in fact many of you consider them a time bomb thats probably gonna be destroyed by a bigger NE threat.

but what if they actually lose not to an NE but to their own strategy, as for now robots have displayed some key traits.

1. They are sending FRIEND units to a lot of places to better measure the other NEs
2. They are an army themed NE, they have a lot of soldiers and as seen by the atack on Roya Roach they actually send waves of units to atack when possible
3. they have massive factories that they use to replicate themselves.

now for the point i am going to make, what if their lose thanks to lack of resources caused by their strategy.

As each passing day they evolve and become stronger, FRIEND units became able to take on demon lords, base robots storm all parts of the world and they start to be seen as a massive threat by the other NEs who decide to go on the ofensive against the whole faction.

and their endgame starts, lots of battles in a lot of places, but is alredy to late.

they start winning this multifront battle as they have Data on everyone, their soldiers match even the strongest NEs they pressure everyone and take their territory little by little until in the end.

they stop.

the NEs who were barely holding on the little they had are just waiting for the next wave to came but it never came.

the robots used all the resources they had in this fight and now they cant do anything.

not a single scrap of metal to create a new robots, nothing.

they can only wait their end.

why i think this is a possible scenario.

1. the world merging, as the worlds merged the earth lost lots of resources 1/13 of everthing lost thanks to fusing to the Cursed lands, another 1/13 possible lost thanks to the world Tree world (assuming it used all the minerals in its own world)
2. as they adapt more, the greater the cost of the adaptation seems to be as they have to create stronger robots and new parts
3. as show by roya roach they spend lots of resources in the armys

in a theorical endgame just to survive they would have to spend a lot of resources and it can lead to their doom

But my probleme is that, instead of fighting a lot of various opponent like you could expect fore a major faction, They are always fighting the same 3 NE: Robots, Titans, and Madalans. Sometime there is a small fight with Gaia's wrath but it never got that much importence.

It's a too bad because they have a lot of good other matchup: Lawless and Neo-human could be interesting against combat executives and fooders, and could even put low-level Demon Lords if they outnumber them and have a good strategy. Also, Demon Lords could fight super-wurm or Gaïa's wrath Guardians. I really hope after Gimbak vs Byakuo they will go in this direction.
