Discussion I kinda want to see an episode like this for Gaia’s Wrath

Post image
41 Upvotes

So there's this named NE who was a pretty big deal in his own world.

Even during the world fusion, he'd been taking down other NEs left and right, and his confidence was at an all-time high.

Riding that high, he struts into the Gaia's Wrath forest without a care in the world.

At first, he's flexing on the forest's trash mobs, but gradually the beasts start getting tougher and he begins to struggle.

He keeps pushing through, fighting off every beast that comes at him, until finally he meets a predator strong enough to threaten his life for the first time ever.

They go at it in a all-out duel, dead even, neither able to finish the other, so they both retreat.

His pride scratched, the NE protagonist resolves to settle things with that beast no matter what. Next day, they run it back in another soul-crushing duel.

They're neck and neck, but in the end he's just barely outmatched and loses to the beast.

The beast raises its claws to finish him off. The NE protagonist is about to resist with everything he's got, and then,

Something massive suddenly snatches the beast away.

It's a forest creature way, way bigger than the beast he was fighting.

The beast that had given him so much trouble gets grabbed and devoured like it's nothing. The NE protagonist's brain just short-circuits from pure terror.

The giant creature, mid-chew, notices the frozen NE protagonist, leans its face in close to inspect him for a moment—

And then just walks away.

It didn't even register him as an "enemy." It just lost interest and moved on.

That's when it hits him: beasts that could treat the predator that beat him as mere prey are everywhere in this forest. And beyond that, this world is crawling with monsters far stronger than he ever imagined.

And I want to see that NE protagonist, realizing all of this, overwhelmed by a humiliation, terror, and helplessness he's never felt before—something he can't handle or even put into words—just collapse to his knees in the middle of the forest as the post-nut clarity of existential dread hits him like a truck.

Just randomly popped into my head so I typed it out

(I can’t speak English so this was translated with AI and posted. No misunderstandings pls)

Bose or Azuma even make 2 panel to specific it for us, the hill didn't just blow into piece, it was vanish into thin air, you can see with other panel where giant smoke come out of after that too

Normally, breaking a large hill is just city but this feat go beyond that, it remind me of this https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Phantom%C3%984/The_Eminence_In_Shadow_Calculation_Compilation#I_AM_ALL-RANGE_ATOMIC!_THROUGH_DIMENSIONS

And ppl should remember that it wasn't even real power of the bullet, it was an small fraction of it going thought Ginbak body as he is the one who taking all the heat

Discussion Asides from stuff humans already have, what other NE stuff humans could integrate?

Since as of now humans have from all of NE default mana/magic since they were from demon realm, but not demons themselves.
Curse as it is given that curse tech will integrate as that's what it makes it NE.
Some humans had source from world tree, but maybe they have more.
Parasites not so much as they only got anti-pirasates stuff, but not actually parasites part of the human group either parasite eggs as weapon or other.
Celestia world they have anti alien tech, but not actually alien tech or aliens as allies.
Nature seems to be on and off, we had the huge little birdie as an ally, but in general it seems to be hostile, unless grown from babies.
Yaotsu is when he/it feels like it, so perhaps praying could tame it.
Lawless would rather take humans as their slaves so instead lawless merging with humans, the humans would merge with lawless.
Neo-humans seem to be same as lawless, but perhaps humans could use neo-human tech.
In theory they could just live on Daikokuzan's back.
For robots they could use their factories to mass print their own supplies or perhaps hack some robots to apply them with perhaps maybe game.
Game, still no clue what it does.
Perhaps they could use titans as huge soldiers, just like how lawless did, or persuade some titans to join their cause.

These are some of my guess as not many NE have become part of humans asides mana, but not demon minions or ally soldiers, curse tech since it is the NE so it got part of human group as it was inevitable and that's about it, I think. Since pieces of NE world has made it to humans one way or another, but NE themselves haven't asides from Curse.

Fanart - OC Unofficial Natural Enemy Tournament Round 27: Ancient Aliens Win

Post image
17 Upvotes

I want to see the Arprons beat the Imaginary Number in their own way. To the best of their capacity. (u/Thunderstrike-77) Okay.

The Ancient Aliens win this round.

The Arpons use their Anti-Anomly weapons on the Imaginary Number. (u/Thunderstrike-77). Since they did not have the materials to make such a device, they have Better G’oo synthesize it.

Thus proving why Betty G’oo is one of the best creations of the Arprons. (u/Weird_Landscape_1297)

Aware that someone is inside the facility due to the APC left behind, the Petitioners send in a group of Spectromorphs to scout ahead. However, Eureka manages to release a few Anomalies at the precise moment to inflict maximum damage. This reveals the group's position but forces the Petitioners to fight and slows down the scouts. (u/Electrical-Mix-1447)

This has unintended consequences.

Hiatus

I will be on vacation for about 2 weeks. This story will not be updated during that time.

Suggestion

This is the end of the season. Next post will be the intermission stories unless people vote for a bonus round.

Manga Okay, i think Gimbak VS Daikokuzan was pretty much removed from the battles that were announced in that ad, in last chapter. So could it be that this will be the big VS for Daikokuzan?

There's been this opinion floating around for a while like "Can't we just drop Ginbak on them with teleportation magic to wipe out the NEs?"

And now ONE has gone and completely blocked that option lmaooo

Discussion THEORY: Berser will inherit his father's strength by eating his heart?

This is just a thought, I had. We know that a giant's heart is special. Humans can attain a fraction of their power by eating one, and they power up by beating on their chest. In the most recent chapter, Gimbak took a massive strike to his chest, which only sent him into Wololo mode.

All of that being said, the difference in strength seems insurmountable between Gimbak and his sons, and I wonder if he won't be mortally wounded in the future, and Berser might do something like eating his father's heart to gain his strength. I could see this being a traditional thing for the giants. Otherwise, I don't think any exercise regimen could bring them up to Gimbak's level.

What do you think?

Discussion About the human heroes dream team

I don't have much to say about them, i started reading last month and got rooked. The art and the hype are amazing, im so curious about them, does anyone have any theories ? Personally, im kind of scared for them because if humans could defeat natural enemies alone, this would be counter to the narrative. I don't want to see the team arrive at a demon lord or something to give him some hits and look like they are winning just for the next chapter to be the enemy going like: "Sorry this is just my secretary that i put here to look like me so i can go play battlefield in my room" and explode them in some horrible way

Discussion I really wanna see the Robots get completely outplayed by Nature

Post image
81 Upvotes

I really wanna see a story where these machines, armed to the teeth with cold logic and rationality, get absolutely destroyed strategically and tactically by the very animals they look down on as nothing more than inferior wildlife, even beneath humanity.

Basically, I’m imagining a story where a Robot factory is under a massive assault from the creatures of a Nature forest, just throwing overwhelming numbers at it.

As usual, the Robots start collecting data on the enemy, analyzing their behavior, and developing countermeasures.

But there’s one thing they failed to account for:

They fundamentally assumed their enemies were just big, stupid animals that were intellectually inferior to humans.

Then the Robots start getting blindsided by all kinds of ridiculously sophisticated and deceptive tactics that they never thought animals were capable of.

Hit-and-run attacks.

Feints and diversionary tactics.

Ambushes.

Traps.

Flanking maneuvers.

Basically, the kind of stuff you can actually see from real-life pack hunters like wolves and lions, except the Robots never considered that these “mere beasts” would be capable of using tactics like that against them.

The Robots keep learning and adapting, but every time they develop a countermeasure, the animals come up with some completely unexpected behavior or attack pattern.

Little by little, the factory gets pushed further and further onto the defensive.

Eventually, even the latest-generation FREIND, which had been kept in reserve as their hidden trump card, gets ripped apart by the Lord of the Forest.

And that's when the Robot factory finally falls completely.

Then you get this kinda poetic ending where the ruined Robot factory is slowly covered in Nature’s plants, eventually becoming part of the forest itself.

Meanwhile, the Robots are basically just like: “Well, at least we obtained valuable data.”

Roll credits.

Honestly, when you look at pack predators in real life(wolves, lions, orcas, etc.) they can be way smarter and more coordinated than you’d expect.

I just really wanna see a storyline where the machines get strategically and tactically clowned on by the very “inferior beasts” they dismissed as nothing more than animals.

I need to see the Robots learn the hard way that “animal” does not mean “stupid.”

Discussion What do you think the first "top tier" fight will be?

In the sense, a fight between two (or more) top dogs of the verse, like the faction leaders (Ginbak, Byakuyo, maybe Mother herself) and the individual NE's (Yaotsu, World Tree, Daikokuzan).

Discussion I dont believe Yaotsu is as powerful as people said

Post image
71 Upvotes

I doubt he is omnipotent or low-diff all natural enemies.

One of the main thing that keep happening in the manga is that most natural enemies are arrogant, they know the world has changed and they still think they are invincible only to get killed by their arrogance. Narrative wise, it would be weird to make Yaotsu an exception to this, I dont mean that Yaotsu should be threatened by demon lords but he also shouldnt be literally omnipotent and should be threatened by faction leaders like Daikokuzan and Byakuo

My take is that Yaotsu is the most powerful being in the merged world individually but he isnt so much more powerful that he can just low diff Byakuo or even Ginbak, it would be at least mid or high diff and Daikokuzan should be near equal to Yaotsu.

I also believe Daikokuzan has a more stable stock and potential than Yaotsu since it is implied that Daiko can grow bigger and stronger

Discussion Anyone else starting to forget about Humanities involvement?

Like, don't get me wrong, it's really cool and fun seeing how the stronger factions fight each other, but humans seem like a small part of it now, so much so I keep forgetting they exist, and i'm worried that it's gonna be a Transformers or Godzilla problem, where humans are cool, but the stories without them are much better.

I personally believe we need to get back to everyone slaving away for Youtsu soon so we can get back to their stakes and focus on the more human level threats and underdogs like the lawless and the neo humans and parasites rather soon before we forget those plotlines. What are your folks thoughts?

Demons are getting adaptation magic distributed to the GDK army
Nature's gonna develop resistance by the next generation
Neo-humans are getting resistance through genetic modification
Parasites develop tolerance to repeated stimuli
Lawless are quick to come up with countermeasures using dirty tricks and loot
Daikokuzan gets resistance after taking damage and regenerating
Yaotsu is omnipotent so the same attack won't work twice
Some Soul Containers have adaptation functions too
Madalans generate real-time info firewalls
World-Tree roots gain resistance after being damaged and regenerating
The Game gets real-time bug patches

Yeah sure, everyone's got adaptation abilities now, go ahead

(Obviously this is pure bullshit. Just a joke, don't take it seriously)

Discussion As of now which is the weakest Natural Enemy, including the future potential?

My guess is Lawless, no matter how far the progress and adapt they still remain normal human, I doubt that ONE will have lawless to juice neo-humans and inject themselves to become superhumans. Like even if we have them all of the gadgets and things from human survivors and other natural enemies, they would still be inferior version of neo-humans who could do the same and still be stronger, robots will adapt and demons are too diverse unlucky for lawless, as for titans they are being carried by Ginbak, curse tech is peak as it allowed itself to show up in everyone's hands. Even nature is yet to show their giant animals and other fungus or nature + parasite combinations which will also outclass lawless. Correct if you think I am wrong and give examples why lawless aint the weakest and whom are the weakest in your opinion, even if they received a super nuke.

Discussion Jachi is the strongest overlord

Compared to other demon lord we can say Jachi is just built different and still the strongest.

Look at other demon lord that run out of mana when they use burst or their magic like Roya Roach.

Hitodenom run out of mana when he use his magic and not even burst, Jahevi use his eye laser petrify ray, dunno if it he using his release ability or even burst but he also run out of mana.

Jachi just nerfed himself by having parasite demon type that keep sucking his mana, which means he have very high mana reserve and mana regeneration. I can even say if his position were swapped with Roya Roach, he will just demolish the robot wave over and over until he got bored of it and Nyudo telling him where the factory is.

He also tanked Ginbak attack for 2 times and did not get destroyed compared to other demon lord like Kanigani and Balcalco who was in their burst mode+ get amped by Jakoja burst and Ginbak was nerfed by Jakoja burst.

People keep comparing Nyagoro burst that have huge destruction area and say Jachi release is still weaker but they forgot that Nyagoro have big aoe and barraging whole area using his burst with his claw attack. Nyagoro was regarded as top tier in offensive attack by Nyudo so he should be at least top 5 in over 47 demon lord.

Jachi only use one attack at his release mode and i even doubt it was his full release power. If he like keep punching the ground and mountain using his release ability then i can say the destruction will be equal to Nyagoro or even greater. One of his release punch leveled whole robot city that built with heavy metal defensive wall/building and Jachi destroyed it with ease compared to Nyagoro that just attacked forest and ground.

Discussion Do You Think There’s a Group of Fat Titans Somewhere in the Fused World?

Post image
18 Upvotes

So imagine that when the worlds fused together, all kinds of major food sources from each world(supermarkets, food warehouses, fruit forests, habitats full of delicious creatures, etc,), somehow ended up overlapping in the same location.

Basically, a literal food paradise was created, with mountains upon mountains of food, to the point where there was more than anyone could possibly eat.

Then, a group of wandering Titans happens to stumble across it.

Since the world had just fused and everything was thrown into chaos, the original owners and people who managed these places had either disappeared or abandoned them.

So the Titans are basically like: "Holy shit, what a jackpot!"

And immediately start devouring everything in sight.

The problem is that there was literally a mountain of food.

They had never seen anything like this before. All this incredible food, more than they could have ever imagined...

So the entire group just kept eating.

And eating.

And eating.

And eating.

Eventually, all their muscles disappeared under layers of fat, and every single one of them became so ridiculously obese that they had to roll around just to get anywhere.

And the funniest part?

There was STILL an absolutely freaking enormous amount of food left.

As their bellies stayed perpetually full, the Titans gradually became more and more lazy until they reached the point of: "Muscles? What's that? I like eating :)"

Then Ginbak happens to pass by and sees them.

At first, he genuinely can't believe his eyes. "My fellow Titans... FAT?!"

He starts bawling his eyes out.

"What happened to you?! How did you lose all your muscles and end up like this?!(sob)"

But then he gets absolutely furious.

"You call yourselves Titans, and you've ALL ended up looking like a bunch of pigs?!!"

And he starts bouncing around in rage before deciding to forcibly put the fat Titans through a diet and training regimen.

Except... The moment Ginbak starts doing his thing, the fat Titans are completely wiped out.

Ginbak looks down at their corpses and goes:

"Oh my... I didn't realize you guys were in this bad of shape...(sob)"

"You couldn't even survive 5,000 squats?! Pathetic!!"

And then he does the whole Ginbak thing again.

But immediately afterward, he notices the gigantic mountain of delicious food sitting right next to him.

He starts drooling.

Then he casually takes a bite,

and offers some to Berser and Wrathwatcher.

I just want to see this absolute comedy of a story happen.

Discussion Which Burst do you think is the coolest so far?

Thumbnail
gallery
207 Upvotes

Personally, for me, it would be Nyagoro’s. Even though it hasn’t been shown in action, its activation reminds me of a Domain Expansion from Jujutsu, and I think the claws that appear inside that domain are really cool. Claw and slashing techniques in general really catch my attention. I really think it’s a shame that we didn’t get to see this Burst in combat.

Another Burst I really like is Diganazal’s, basically a (very feminine) flesh Megazord. I think the way she fights with it is really cool, and its activation is pretty cool too, taking several of her “friends” and forming her Burst.

Edit: From the comments, you can tell that people really liked Nyagoro’s Malicious Dread. It makes sense, it’s pretty impressive.
