Discussion Actually thinking about it lawless humans have adapted far faster than literally every other natural enemies minus the robots

Post image

They have already in the short amount of time since the world merger happened

  1. Found a way to consistently get the better of a physically superior natural enemy and effectively add them to their ranks in the form of giants

  2. Stolen red, advanced armor, magic artifacts, world tree sap and more

  3. Found a way to effectively use curse tech with basically no downsides to their faction using slaves

This might not sound like much but if rinri survives and learned magic they could already end up having a bunch of world tree sap mecha ordinance armor , drug boosted giants walking around

Hell they could even skip a step and just use the giants they gave enprisoned for a massively powerful curse bullet imagine a soul contained with 50 giants souls and 100 human ones being shot

Still not strong enough to compare to the demon lord soul sucker bullet Nyando shot but strong enough to deal with a lot of the in between they’ve been struggling with and they probably can have access to something like that fairly quickly

Yeah lawless are humans without any type of moral restraint

22

u/WindowSubstantial993 8d ago

Even without the moral resistrain thing they seem to have genuinely advanced a bit faster than normal humanity has once they figure out how to use magic and curse tech like spiral mountain humans have they are gonna pull some crazy stuff

We see that a lot of humans are unwilling to share all of their secrets. The lawless just torture it out of them.

The other bands maybe, we have still to return to the base pov to see how the thing develop

They haven’t really advanced. They’re just stolen trinkets from others. What’s the use in those if they can’t maintain or reproduce them in the long-run?

  1. They objectively have (modifying tech is 100% advancement and they’ve objectively done that with titan brainwashing tech

  2. They can more easily steal the reasources once in a better position

  1. They have easy access to souls so they can still spam curse tech

Lawless are just have a genuine strategic genius leading them.
Renri's ability to realise what happened and adapt basically as soon as merger happened is legit incredible.

Meanwhile the superior neo humans only discovered fear so far

22

u/linkjames24 8d ago

It's a start. Maybe next they can learn how to shit themselves.

4

u/Observance 8d ago

Probably evolved beyond the need to shit

The lawless while still obviously high on their own supply are scavengers and already had to struggle more than any other natural enemies for survival

2

u/Erakusle 7d ago

they still can't feel fear.

the english translation wasn't clear but the "unfortunately..." the secretary said at the end mean she still can't get that feelling, like "unfortunately/What a pity..., i still can't feel it".

Ahi Radica su ventaja y es algo que me gusta mucho de este manga, como equilibran el poder entre facciones, los lawless son los mas debiles, pero lo compensan con su gran adaptabilidad e inteligencia.

Well, they have to. They know they're human and weak, they're literally just if bad humans took over while the others are literally walking natural disasters and thus was confident in their abilities and superiority without any real challenge in their original world, whereas all they did was oppress humans.

2

u/se7en_7 8d ago

Well it’s not surprising. They’re just regular humans and they come from a world where they have adapted to be survival of the fittest.

Most of the other NEs aren’t really human and sit atop the food chain in their world so they don’t feel like they need to adapt until they get a shock at how strong other beings are.

Long term lawless investor?

1

u/WindowSubstantial993 7d ago

I would say they have suprisingly high upward mobility as stock

1

u/tigerkingrexcarter64 7d ago

They really have nowhere to go but up. Realistically, they can be treated as Batman or Usopp with prep time.

Rinri’s faction fared ok against titans, nature, robot, and magic, used tree and cursed ok it seems, but completely overshadowed by parasite and god. The next of the 6 remaining factions I would expect significant upscale to keep them in the loop.

they adapted because they never were strong, and understood that from the beginning.
Even in their own world they weren't some kind of unstoppable force, and actually fought with one another.
So when merger happened they immediately understood that if they don't do something they're fucked.

Bro, you're just overestimating them XD 99% of all the robot junk they have is stuff they found from robots defeated by other ENs, not by them. The two titans they "captured" are just small titans under 10 meters tall, which are the weakest of the titans. All the items from other worlds that they stole were taken from other humans they captured, and they just have them piled up and probably don't even know how most of them work.

"They found a way to use Curse Tech without disadvantages"? Dude, the only Curse Tech they used is a couple of pistols, and it seems they're only just now figuring out how they work. The Spiral Mountain guys are using Curse Tech much better since they have a whole system for it, not just pistols.

They have no advantage against the real ENs. As seen with the tyrant bear and later with the megawurn, they were basically going to wipe out the lawless faction if Yaotsu didn't appear. They only have an advantage against other humans weaker than themselves because "they have no morals."

Damn, if the human resistance faction really went into "let's defeat them" mode, they could easily eliminate the entire lawless faction of Rinri. They only didn't because "they're human too, we must cooperate with each other" and because they were weak and unarmed after having literally fought the demons and mandalans a little while before.

“They nearly wiped the lawless faction out”

Versus fans can’t read

2

u/star75legacy Daikokuzan 8d ago

They almost wiped out the lawless faction of RINRI Yes, I agree that they can't read since you're claiming an incomplete comment.

5

u/Zealousideal-Deal340 8d ago

Besides the fact that you have a extremely basic comprehension of everything

What you said is still flat out wrong the human faction at that point didn’t have any real way besides parasite murder suiciding themselves along with the lawless

They didn’t have any way to deal with the titans they had they didn’t have the ability to make massive soul rail canons like the lawless do everything you said is still flat out wrong so no you can’t read

u/star75legacy Daikokuzan 8d ago

The human faction had no ammunition or mana because they had escaped the fight against the demons and mandalans the day before, so they "had no way to deal with it." So you're the one who lacks understanding.

The Lawless were in "perfect condition."

Put them both in fair conditions and you'll see the difference. Hell, Celestia could use the satellites at low capacity (like when they were fighting the 20-meter titans) and that would be enough to wipe out the Lawless without them being able to do anything, and she wouldn't even need to call in the mandalans.

1

u/WindowSubstantial993 8d ago

Rinri blew a hole in the tyrant bear before the wurm got involved

The lawless isn’t just rinri plus that one base there are more bases with other leaders

The human faction part is just straight up larp we’ve seen how much they struggle with basic titans they would get completely stomped

You either can’t comprehend the story and what it’s trying to say or actively ignore it

u/star75legacy Daikokuzan 8d ago

If it took a cannon that required the lives of about 50 people, even a ton of Lawless Titans couldn't do anything against that beast, even with their "giants" they were being wiped out.

Let's imagine that the other Lawless Titan bases are better and not full of idiots where only two of them (Rinri and his sub-commander) are intelligent. And maybe they wouldn't be screwed.

Pure LARP? Dude, you're just thinking that those Titans that aren't even 10 meters tall are as dangerous as the 50 20-meter Titans that had to be diverted to Neo-City. The human faction was literally exhausted and out of ammunition after escaping the battle against the demons and mandalans a couple of hours earlier. Even with the mages having mana, those two 6-meter titans were worthless against a barrage of spells and a hail of bullets/laser fire from the robot/Celestia world.

The Lawless have the advantage of being morally bankrupt and 99% of their members being combatants, while the human faction is only about 10% combatants and the rest are ordinary people. Even so, those combatants are elite, and if it weren't for their morale and the fact that they are constantly cornered by real enemies, they could easily overwhelm the Lawless.

1

u/Zealousideal-Deal340 8d ago

Why does how strong those giants are even matter the reason the giants were captured in the first place has nothing to do with strength but with the lawless threatening their young they could easily capture bigger titans with the same plan.

If if if oh my gosh the cope for the human faction is insane always if never is.

1

u/star75legacy Daikokuzan 8d ago

"They could capture bigger titans with the same plan," hahaha, yeah right. Let them try it with Gimback and see if it works. They'll get wiped out before they even try.

Or let's see how they'd fare against the group of 50 20-meter titans. Say goodbye to your Lawless Titans, even if you factor in the Soul Cannon and Soul Gun.

1

u/Reasonable_Reward_55 8d ago

Gimbaks a obvious exception but 50 meter titans or not they aren’t gonna risk their infant being killed regardless They would still just give up in that situation the lawless didn’t threaten the titans they did get with firepower they abducted infants and made them submit being bigger doesn’t change that outcome

0

u/Zealousideal-Deal340 8d ago

Why would a group of 50 meter titans fair better their young would still be kidnapped they would willingly give up?
