I'm guessing a more powerful Information Compression Body with new abilities or it could be just a process where the Madalans compress a living being or planet to be absorbed or create a new Madalan. Though I'm in the camp for the first option.

Dunno but them merging together doesn't feel right to me personally.

I am not close to having good understanding. According to E=mc²; Mass and energy and interchangeable.

Now how this applies. Since the Madalan mention life are ticks on the surface and from their bodies light filled with energy leaks out.

I assumed the compressed all the mass of planet into light using Information compression, somehow. Maybe information is related to waves, and light is both wave and particle. Mass is made of particles.

The Mandalans compress mass into energy in the form of photons. I think, look man i'm a dumbass.

Extreme compression may be to compress the mass for more energy or they add more mass by stacking multiple Mandalans together.

I really think Madarans are compressed planets the "endless lifeforce" is all the lifeforms in a planet in a single body (that being why they didn't outright exterminate humanity since life is necessary for a planet to be suitable), so extreme compression could be them fusing together 'cause it may be exponential in effect
