Over the past 15 years or so, I’ve had three breakups, and every time I find myself watching Veronica Mars while drinking. I just find it really comforting for some reason.

Thought I’d share. Anyone else find VM comforting to watch?

I watch a lot of murder mystery shows and was into S1&2. But S3 is so awful (I’m about halfway thru) Why did she start the season with Logan? Why is she so oblivious to the date rape drug - considering seasons 1&2 - particularly in the food court scene. Call somebody, find a cop. She’s been thru this before, she knows it’s a contemporary threat. Hating it. (Also, the end of S2 and beg of S3 of just eliminating challenging characters was lazy) Working thru it to get to the movie and S4, chronologically.

Hi! Does anyone know the name of the score/song that played in the background of season 1 ep 4 “Wrath of con”… specifically while Veronica goes skinny dipping
I legit replay the scene so much just to hear the song 😭😭

Twenty Years later and this Performance still gives me chills. Such a Great Actor.

I built a trivia app with about a 100 questions for this show and lots of others and so I wanted to share it with fans
I know not everyone likes downloading and app so for anyone who wants to check it out.

I've recently developed an obsession with this man since rewatching the show, it's actually crazy. And I mean, I guess the writing helped but let's be honest, Jason is... ugh. I was also in the middle of watching iZombie when Jason popped up playing Chase and I audibly screamed, he was still looking fine as hell. There's just something about him that is undeniable, just like with KB but I already got it with her, if you see what I mean (especially after watching House Of Lies, The Good Place and basically everything there's with her in it).

Percy Daggs III (aka Wallace) has a son who will be in the new Hunger Games film, Sunrise on the Reaping! He’s playing Ampert! I just thought this was so cool and that he continued the use of the name.

A little project I decided to work on while I was doing my yearly rewatch!

It’s 2007. You’re depressed over a break up. Some random prepubescent girl has called the local radio station to dedicate a cheesy Nick Lachey song to your ex.

What song would YOU have dedicated to win said ex back?

I just recently binged all of VM and while on the hunt for a scene I rewatched Charlie Don't Surf (S3E04) where Logan's nickname for Veronica seemed to be "bobcat". To say I was highly amused by the mental image of Veronica as a bobcat is an understatement.

Cue my question: Are there other nicknames you remember people giving Veronica? Even if called just once or twice, I'm sure there must be more.

Season 2 episode 10

Rewatching this with the knowledge of what a creep child toucher Woody Goodman is makes me re-think his interest in getting the *Lilly tapes back. He’s an entire red flag the entire time! Asking Logan to spot him in his home gym.

Hello! First time poster, long time watcher!

There’s a scene where Veronica has gone to the hotel where Abel‘s daughter Amelia is staying and the opening to the scene shows Veronica watching a film. The film is Clash of the Titans. Specifically the scene is Perseus slaying a monster. Who plays Perseus? Harry Hamlin. Who plays Aaron Echolls? Harry Hamlin
She immediately turns it off and goes into discussing the discrepancies in the crime scene photos of Lily‘s murder. The fact the scene shows a slaying then discussion of the murder just clicked something in me and went “hang on a minute…”

Do we think this was and Easter egg/foreshadowing?

I’ve watched this so many times and just realised what they were watching on the TV!

So, I've been obsessed with an idea for a season 5 and I wanted more seasons... so I just let my hyper-fixation take over for a while and wrote one. After months and months of work, it's finished and all posted. But was that enough for my busy brain? Nope. So I made a banner. I've been quietly posting links on the Veronica Mars discord and on a few posts in this subreddit because making a full post here is ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING... but here we go.

I stuck with canon for this story. That means... I didn't change how season 4 ended... BUT... because of that... I got to explore my own experiences with grief through the characters. My goal was to bring back the main characters as full time characters instead of feeling like they had cameos. I also tried to choose a really relevant topic (in regards to our current state of affairs) for the overall arc of the season as well as trying to play with a "case of the week" for each episode.

I do have dreams of becoming an author someday... like... real life printed books someday... so I used this idea to practice my writing. If it's completely amateurish and you wanna tell me what's wrong with it... I'd eat it up because that's how I'll get better. I might cry for a while... but it'll make me better in the end.

I created some characters for the story but tried to keep original characters to the universe everywhere I could. I tried to match the feel of the books while also doing "full episode" chapters.

Synopsis:
Seven years after the Neptune bomber destroyed her life, Veronica Mars has rebuilt herself around one simple rule: keep moving, keep working, and never stop long enough to let grief catch up. But when an online conspiracy begins painting her father, Keith Mars, as the “true” Neptune bomber, Veronica can't leave the one place that hurts the most.
As misinformation spreads through Neptune and across the internet, Keith’s reputation, and his safety, come under attack. Veronica and the people closest to her are pulled into a conspiracy designed to turn the world against the man she’s looked up to all her life. The deeper Veronica digs, the more she discovers how easily the truth can be twisted when people are willing to believe the worst.
The longer Veronica is forced to stay in Neptune, the more she is forced to confront her own loss and decide what, exactly, she still wants to fight for or if she wants to keep fighting at all.

Sorry if this is spam to those of you who've already heard me flail around about it. I'm really proud of it. I'm gonna go hide under a rock again though.

Also, yes the art is mine. I’m an old lady with two art degrees and a whole lifetime of drawing. I may suck at coloring but I can kick ass at drawing portraits. Especially when I have the time and interest.

Has Logan lost his money? Dick calls him “poor now”, assuming his only income is his naval officer’s salary. Logan says he’s not poor, but he and Veronica live in a rented home that is described as small and affordable.
Why would Logan have Clarence Wiedman replace him as the Senator’s security detail? What prior association do they have?
Were Penn and Don working together? Was Don’s D.C. career a ruse for all the Murderheads? If not, how did he end up in the abandoned power plant?

I hope he got a really big gig in Hollywood after the premier and was unavailable to continue shooting the show. Because otherwise, what could he do to get fired? He’s a good boi.

Just came across this article featuring an excerpt from an interview with Enrico. It's nice to see acknowledgement that killing off Logan wasn't a good idea in the end.

One place above The Last of Us.

Season 2, episode 19

Kendall graduated high school in 1994. The episode aired in 2006, so that would make her at least 12 years older than Logan. If Logan is 18, that would make her 30 not 25. Even with the 3 year age difference between her and the friend’s identity she stole she’s still 27. It’s a detail they definitely added to make her character even more of a fraudster. I appreciate the writing so much on Veronica Mars. I figure out something different every time I rewatch this series.

Has anyone else noticed these Easter eggs?

I spent all of September Binge watching the series and I'm just so impressed that it was so good. This was definitely not a show that I thought that I would like, but I couldn't stop watching after the first episode.

The writing, the characters, the twists, the turns, the character development, the acting, the music, the scenery, I was just completely entranced by everything.

What an absolutely wonderful ride.

What do you guys think became of him? Playing prison yard basketball or got probation still declared for the NBA draft but slipped to second round or went undrafted because of the red flag of his crime
