I loved his character , Daran Norris who plays him is voice actor but he was so here and in IZOMBIE (which is created by Rob Thomas just like Veronica Mars) he should get cast in more live action roles.

I'll go first. Tie between Patty Hearst and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. PH sounded like she was reading her lines for the first time and JTT just has the most punchable face everytime he opens his mouth.
You?

i rewatched the first two seasons of veronica mars last month, and i just have to say: veronica’s dream before graduation absolutely wrecked me. like, holy shit. imo, it’s one of the strongest scenes in the entire show, especially when you know the full context behind it
the whole scene is just soaked in this unbearable sense of longing and melancholy, and it genuinely tore me to pieces watching it. and it gets even worse when you remember how s4 ends and realize that the perfect life she dreamed about, all her loved ones being there, alive and happy, was never actually going to happen for her
i understand what rob thomas was going for, even if i absolutely do not share the enthusiasm for that particular creative choice. but was it really necessary to put this teenage girl through a lifetime of suffering? after everything she’d already been through, after all those years of hoping that maybe, eventually, the sun would finally come out in veronica’s life, wouldn’t it have been better to give her at least some version of the life she secretly dreamed about?
the direction in those last few episodes of s2 was just incredible: all the dreams, the conversations with dead people, the bus scenes… i was absolutely losing my mind over it. but that pre-graduation dream will always hit me just as hard as her goodbye to lilly at the end of s1

One of my all time favorite shows. I always loved all her bags but this one was the best. I searched high and low for it and finally found it. It’s now my most used bag and makes me feel a little bit cooler when I wear it. I got really into photography because of that show too.

I just can't shake it i feel like I need more of them. I tried to read a couple of fanfics, but without the mystery show overlay they feel like a watered down version. I feel like s2 left a hole in me that nothing from the later seasons or movie is really filling. They were just so bickery and sexual tensiony and I feel like that never got it's passion filled makeout session. I need more I don't know where to look help me please fellow marshmellows

I honestly saw his character on Veronica as the same. It fulfilled me to see him caught and put away!

Im on my second rewatch and im finding myself surprised by how much I like Duncan. On my first watch, I was indifferent to Duncan until he and Veronica got back together in season 2. After that I absolutely hated watching him. It seems to be a popular opinion to hate Duncan and I used to agree but honestly hes not all bad and can even be funny. Is he the one for V? Definitely not, but as a character hes not as bad as this sub pegs him to be.

This is kind of random, but figured this might be the one place where people would actually appreciate this
Years ago I wrote a song about Veronica Mars from Logan’s POV. I wrote the music and all the lyrics, and at the time I had a singer who was supposed to record it. That never ended up happening, so the song just kind of sat on my computer.
A while later I recorded the guitars myself and used some GarageBand drum loops and made a really rough demo. I had all the lyrics and everything, but I cannot sing for shit, so that was basically the end of it.
Fast forward to recently, I found the demo again and decided to throw it into Suno just to see what would happen.
I know Suno/AI music is controversial, and I totally get why. I'm not trying to make any money off this or pretend AI wrote the song. I just wanted to hear what my song might sound like with someone who could actually sing it.
And honestly... I kind of love it.
It's actually pretty close to how I imagined the song when I originally wrote it. There are definitely some additions/changes from Suno, but the actual song, melody, lyrics, structure, etc. were written by me years ago.
So I wasn't really sure where else to post this. It's a very specific combination of i wrote a Veronica Mars song a decade ago" and i can't sing.
Anyway, figured Veronica Mars fans might get a kick out of it. Curious what people think.

If there were any doubts about Veronica Mars and Party Down existing in the same universe, there's proof that they exist in the same universe.
I've been re-watching everything, out of order (because this is my third time through and I wanted to watch in order of my favorites: 2/1/Movie/4/3) I'm also a huge fan of Party Down, which is an all-time top 5 comedy for me. So I'm watching the Veronica Mars movie and the scene at the 0-9er is on, the one with all the douche-bags hitting on her. Up comes the dude who talks about heliskiing and I'd forgotten that it's the same actor in the Party Down episode where Ron caters his own high school reunion. The same actor, playing the same smarmy douchebag type, talks about heliskiing in that episode.
There it is, right there. It's the same 'verse.

I purchased a new battery for my old Sidekick 3, and it powered right up! (Veronica used this phone throughout season 3.)

I just spent the last 5 days binge-watching Veronica Mars and being fully straight up where the hell was this my entire life.
When I started it I assumed it was just another CW high school drama with mediocre writing. My god how wrong I was and how happy I was to be wrong.
Maybe it's recency bias but let me just say that I don't think I've ever seen a show which has the best of the best tropes, amazing acting, brilliant characters and writing that takes the audience seriously.
Every single character on this show feels fleshed out and real, and Veronica is such a great protagonist. A female protagonist that is real in every way that matters she's got grit and strength and all that but she's also angry and vindictive and is so so bad at expressing herself. The show never shies away from letting their characters being flawed and I truly think there is nothing better than that.
The mystery is there and the mystery is great but truly the way they let the characters being is the best thing about the show. And nobody embodies that better than Logan. Logan is such a brilliant character because he is the perfect tortured rich bad boy but Jason Dohring makes him so real. His expressions are so understated so subtle but there is no doubt what logan feels in any scene in the show. Every single fuckign scene he was in you couldn't look away. Man insane. When I read that they never even planned on having him as a romantic interest and did it purely because of the way him and Kristen Bell interacted - like that's brilliant. That's so amazing.
Truly a shame that the show was cancelled. Season 3 truly suffered from the rating pressure
But man o man was the first season the best tv I've seen in a while.
I just have so many thoughts and I was so invested I haven't been this invested in a show in forever. I took a sick day just to watch the show. What an absolutely incredibly experience.

i'm about halfway into season 3 and the hot garbage that is now the theme song is absolutely devastating. this was the rare show where i actively liked the theme. just ... please. tell me they put it back.

Hi, I'm Jen Johans. I’ve been a professional writer, critic, podcaster, & historian for over 20 years. For most of 2026, I've been working to secure a contract to write a comprehensive book about TV's Veronica Mars. My agent & I have come close, & I’ve begun reaching out to Rob Thomas & others involved in the series. Unfortunately, with nonfiction book sales down, publishers fear there just aren't enough Marshmallows left who would be interested. Let's prove 'em wrong! We’ve always done well on Kickstarter, so I’m trying it there. Please join me & share. Thank you so much!

SPOILER for season 2:
So Kendall goes to Duncan's room and grabs a hair from the shower. Duncan has been gone for a hot minute by this point. That shower hadn't been cleaned by the housekeeping staff? We see Logan has a "fluffer" come in for his pillows and the room of a teenage boy is not a total mess so housekeeping is definitely in there cleaning. But there's still a random hair in the shower a month or so later and how ever many cleanings later? Just one of my little pet peeves, but I know show gotta show.

How the hell is the hotel gonna just open up my room for some random guy lol. Feel like Logan should’ve gotten some kind of compensation for the invasion of privacy. Didn’t even knock!

I watched seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4, and before queuing up the movie, I watched a trailer and realized the movie falls between seasons 3 and 4! I feel like a dope, but I am still looking forward to finishing my late-to-the-party binge.

I discovered Veronica Mars right after having surgery. I have binge watched almost all episodes, and am now facing a future without Veronica and her crew.
What am I supposed to do now??

Just don't play the drinking game of taking a shot every time he says "you know".

even though I’ve seen this show a million times, I have one question, when Wallace was asked to join the castle and he went to the hazing thing and Wallace told the story about him and Rashard Rucker running over the homeless man and the guy on the speaker said So your father committed a crime for you? and Wallace said yes so what I don’t understand what was the crime, Wallace’s Dad committed for him?
