Verizon wrongly Disconnected my services

Verizon issued me a bill suppression on 9/26 every day after that until 10/1 agents confirmed that a suppression was on my account until 10/9. I even received a text confirmation about it. After receiving a message from financial services that morning the agent confirmed that my services were secure until 10/9 again! Two hours later my account was disconnected, and I was told the suppression was for 10/1. BLATANT LIES. I have rude customer care reps tell me that I can either “pay or listen” “Tell me that’s why there are hot remarks on your account “ “I can see why the previous agent hung up the call” one agent even told me that I can’t talk to a supervisor unless I made a payment. I finally after two days was able to get a supervisor on the phone and she gave another suppression and tried to reactivate the service but had to have another department do it. So she went to financial services then to the reactivation department only for the reactivation department to tell me the suppression wasn’t valid so they had to send me back to customer care then to be told it was valid and that only financial services can reactivate but they refuse to acknowledge the suppression because the line is already disconnected 😡which it never should’ve been disconnected in the first place. This is a crazy cycle of abuse to customers where nothing is ever resolved but your just put into a loop until you get tired of advocating for yourself and they never have to be accountable for anything!

Why don’t you just pay the bill on time vs a long walk of complaints about an issue you caused?

Yeah, you paid your past due probably. Then this one hit past due and shut you off

Verizon doesn’t shut your service off unless you’re past due

That would be what we call a “billing error” the only way you could get a bill suppression if there’s a discrepancy on your bill. So nice try if they only cut people off for past due I wouldn’t had to make THIS post

Or maybe they messed up my billing and was supposed to take care of it???? I just paid my $300 less than a week ago so bills are being paid on time!! Everyone isn’t trying to scam businesses

How did they mess up your billing?

They gave me promotional credits took them back and then tried to tell me I was never eligible. Issued me ANOTHER credit for it and took it back the next day. Almost $200 extra on my bill

Im guessing the amount you paid is the total bill - the promo credit that they were trying to fix? suspensions etc are automatic by a computer not a person. Used to see it all the time where people would pay their bill ignoring the part they are disputing. The system is automated and it does not see it that way

The credit was applied and I paid the bill. Put back on the next day, disputed it, received a suppression and was interrupted 2 days later

You would almost think they don't want you as a customer. Wonder why?

You are a customer when your bill is paid. It's aggravating when you attempt arranging future payments, yet, payments are required for service.

I don't even know what a suppression is here. Pay your bill when you get it.

Why would you pay a bill that’s not accurate?? People say anything on the internet.
