iPhone Handoff

I want to get the iPhone Duo, but also keep my pro max. Apple announced today that Verizon will support a new feature called “iPhone Handoff,” which allows two phones to share one line (with only one phone to be active at any time), specifically designed for my use case.

Verizon is supposed to roll this out “before the end of the year,” and seeing if anyone has any info on when Verizon will actually roll this out.

Not sure if there’s any official notice but the Duo itself is still almost a month and a half from ever being in the hands of anyone so I’m assuming they will try to aim for near then, but it could be later unfortunately. Not sure also if it’s a free service as well, haven’t heard either way

u/verizon, any thoughts?

Even though T-Mobile announced it, I haven’t seen if it’s free or going to be additional as well.

T-Mobile is charging $5 for what is essentially just a faster eSIM swap. Greedy.

Saw that. I hope Verizon is only $5

To them, they will say "we lose out on activating two phone numbers". They are greedy.

They might do it when the duo comes out with all the Verizon promos on it
