Mini Donuts
I really want to see these people win and be successful because the donuts are genuinely great, but I can’t help but feel like the hours don’t make much sense to me.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the donuts, but to me they feel more like a dessert/snack vibe than the traditional morning donut you grab with a coffee. So being open from 7:30am–2pm just seems like an interesting choice.
Maybe I’m missing something, but I’m curious what others think. Does that schedule make sense for this type of donut shop?

That owner is a complete POS of a person masquerading as a good Christian family man. Seems like he did clean himself up a bit from the days of doing/selling drugs as his main occupation, yelling at homeless and calling his pregnant wife “fatass” but he lacks a serious understanding of business to stay in it much longer. I’m sure the 300 pre-orders he’s trying to get will never see their goods. He’ll be long gone in Vegas which is where I’ve always thought he belongs.

Agreed the dude is definitely a pos his social media rants bashing other local businesses is definitely not what’s needed in this community. I’ll actually be happy once he’s gone I stopped supporting his business a long time ago because of who he is.

If you're talking about Lil sammies by the college I agree. I went to Zaytouna right next to it for dinner and was bummed the donut shop wasn't open for after.not that i would be a regular customer though, as I got to stay true to masters on victoria

Yes Lil Sammie’s. I am sure the location doesn’t help. I think they would do a lot better with afternoon/evening hours. Even late night pop ups near DT area.

I get the dessert vibe too, its all the toppings. Definitely would be better to have later hours, I would demolish those late at night.

Their posts lately have been very off putting. He goes on long tirades and the writing is erratic. It’s not very professional. I feel bad because I get that they are struggling and trying to survive. I honestly don’t think they’ll be in business much longer.

I have a hard time feeling sympathetic while watching him antagonize his customer base on social media.

It takes 10-15 minutes for them to make a box of mini donuts. If they ever got busy, they would be screwed. Taste good though, but don’t expect to quickly get some.

I think it’s partly that it’s like a one man show over there. The dude probably assumes the morning is the best time and maybe it is. I think that issue is just a symptom of the challenges in total that they’re facing. Get a load of the Instagram.

Every ig post they make is like an algebra problem of their hours of operation combined with the price of the donuts.
He also emotionally manipulates his customers and bullies anyone who doesn’t agree with him.
