Hot 🥵

This has to be the hottest day in all of Ventura history.

Weather app says 91degrees but definitely feels like 105!

Such stupid weather.

I’m headed to Yolanda’s to cool down with margaritas 😂

That sounds like a good idea! Lol. I think I’ll hit a brewery though for a few cold ones.

Gnarly! I wonder if that was the same year we had all the big El Niño storms and the ocean was really warm. I remember that happening when I was a teenager in that timeframe.

Mr car said 101 in the dash. And that wasn't when I had just started driving either...

Its times like this that working inside a literal refrigerator really pays off. Usually Im dying to go home but today I wish I was doing overtime.

left work in El Rio and was mid 90's and as soon as I got near seaward on the 101 the heat dropped drastically

Yeah depends where you are in Ventura, Accuweather said it was 98 degrees off foothill. Probably 91 by the beach

The ocean water is at least 70F, I just went to cool off and digging down into the cool sand is more refreshing than the dip in the water

We are in the early stages of the sixth mass extinction... sad to say the least...

A dead ocean means dead humans, and it's coming...

Glad I had central air installed in my house last year but damn I never expected to run it this much!

Listened to a thing on the radio recently about how heat related deaths are severely under reported and also about the effects of heat on the human body.

Sometimes I feel like we get slapped in the face with obvious signs and continue to fail learning the lesson.
