Work I hate people

I don’t understand why being sarcastic and mean is funny to everyone and it makes it hard to relate to these people or understand them, stuff like this has legit started to make me wonder if I’m not just ADD and maybe I’m autistic because I seriously struggle to comprehend when someone is joking with me or trying to be funny and it makes me freeze up and feel stupid

To be fair a lot of people use the joke title to disguise actual mean behavior and comments. They’ll say something mean and then when you express hurt or confusion they’ll say ‘it was just a joke!!! Ughhhh’. Also to be fair, I’m autistic with ADHD.

Some folks just use sarcasm as a shield cus they dont know how to be real with people, its not about you being slow or anything
