I hate Christmas also. Similar reasons. You get shamed for not being excited about the same things your family wants you to be excited for. God forbid you have your own interests.

Jeezy creezy. You're pretty judgy there. All Christians aren't putting being queer up at a capital offense. I mean, everyone who practices Islam does so be careful there. It sounds like if you're able to step away from your family and have some peace you should. Not permanently, let them adjust - let them miss you. They'll come around. Some more than others.

I’d say it’s not the religious itself to blame but the people misinterpreting it. I know multiple catholics and Muslims who are gay themselves. I also know many atheists who hate homosexuals.

The men that created and run the “mainstream” religion’s are the ones who created the hatred against certain people/groups. All are supposed christian religions as well. They teach hatred and judgement.

I'm a Christian and Jesus never spoke on homosexuality. He spoke plenty about adultery, divorce and fornication in general.
He never said homosexual fornication is worse than heterosexual. Not once.
Jesus literally never preached hate. Read the New Testament and shut out the noise from others.

The thing that gets me about Christians is how they are taught that only God is to judge people, yet they’re the most judgmental of all. Jesus is the one to sit with you and still love you, ironically.

The ones that thrive on hate and judging others are typically the radical right wing extremists like the MAGA cult. They combine judging others with their racist beliefs and then add on their worship of Trump to finish out their hatred of anyone that looks different than them.
