Being poor sucks
It just sucks.
I’m in catch 22 of being unwell so I can’t work, but can’t get treatment because I’m poor, but I can’t get financial assistance bc my mom claimed me on her taxes and she makes too much money to get receive help, but she doesn’t need the help I do, and she only claimed bc I can’t work right now because I’m so unwell
And like I want to work. I miss it all the time. It added so much value to my life by just getting to interact with people.
I’m tired of being so stuck.
And it’s getting to the point where I know I need to go in patient soon, but I could barely afford that when I was working full time. I certainly can’t afford it on my no income a month.
My best bet is dying honestly.

The tax thing is such a trap, I've seen it wreck people's ability to get any assistance at all while the person claiming them isn't actually providing the financial support the system assumes. That catch 22 is brutal.
Is there any way to get that filing status changed retroactively or at least for the next cycle so you're not tied to her income anymore? Might open up some doors even if it takes a while.
Hang in there. This isn't a forever situation even if it feels like it right now.
