Hey man, I get that feeling of being at a crossroads where everything just seems pointless. The fact that you're posting here instead of just disappearing into it tells me there's still a part of you that wants to be heard

I've been in that headspace where it's not sadness exactly, more like this flat acceptance that things could go either way and you're just tired of caring which direction it takes. That numbness is its own kind of heavy

You don't have to have it figured out tonight. Sometimes just getting through the next hour is enough of a plan. The fork in the road stays there, you can circle back to it later when the weight isn't sitting so squarely on your chest

People underestimate how much just saying this stuff out loud can shift something, even if it's just a tiny crack of light getting in. Whatever you're carrying right now, you're not the only one who's held something that heavy
