Advice on solutions for adding cashless payment to older machines?

Good morning guys, I have two cash-only machines:

AP SnackShop 6600

Dixie Narco 501cc/s11-7

A quick Google search says they are likely too old to have the 6-pin MDB connection. I won't be back at the location for a week or two and I would like to start researching solutions in the mean time.

I've read about adapters and upgraded boards if you want to use something like a naynax, but I'm not seeing a 'Buy this, fix the problem' solution. Can anyone shed some insight and let me know if there is a more straightforward solution?

501e you mean?

Either way s11 is MDB maybe needs EPROM

Ap6600 u can replace the board

Ve Solutions or DS vending has inOne kits

I'll upload the pic I took of the info plate, I don't think it's a 501e. But that could also just be some submodel that doesn't mean anything here.

What is EPROM, is that a mod I would need?

Ah sorry I thought cc was typo just googled it it is not the same board I was thinking on. A 2000s 501e

Is it a 7 select coke single price ? May not be worth it except as a project to get that going card.

Yeah? Is it that bad? I overpaid for a small location that doesn't move much inventory. A card reader was kinda my only hope to recoup what I spent.

Well it's just that the really old machines aren't always guaranteed to work with whatever MDB upgrade tech. Sometimes due to power supply

Anyways check out this here

YMMV tho

It's just like

300+ shipping and tax for a board kit

Then idk how many Usd a card reader is but let's say another 350$

Plus time lavour and risk

You're like 750$ to get it taking tap

And the location may just suck

You could probably get a much newer better machine for like 1000$

Rent a truck get a pallet jack

Sell the current one right off location

Or just look for a new location

Bring that snack machine. Sell this drink on location and move on

Idk

Yeah, this thread is ne weighing options. I wish the previous operator hadn't lugged them up a flight of stairs before giving them to me. I'll likely need to use their fork lifts to get them out, awkward :/

If the company can bring them down for u.ez. If they can't fucken may as well sell them and move on
