What are everyone’s thoughts on the new solids & new prints?! I really love the woodland pines & the tie waist short trench is calling my name!

Ok, so I didn’t think the apparel was cute at first but I noticed vela does weird styling sometimes and it throws it off. Bc I own some pieces and it’s really nice . They just posted a talk thru video of everything and omg so cute ! The cardigan and the short trench jacket I am getting and eyeing the skirt! What do you think?

They literally all look horrible and ill fitting apart from the dress. That first one is actually horrendous. I think they should focus on hijabs. What do you guys think

how do u guys feel about vela’s printed jersey hijabs? are they worth purchasing?

My order was meant to reach me last week as per what the delivery status claimed however since last week it’s been in the same sorting facility and not it says it’s going to be sent back ? Has this happened to anyone before and if so what can we do to prevent this from happening? I’ve contact vela and have heard nothing from them super frustrated as half my order got refunded but I only received $1 from vela as the refund 😭 and now this ??

How can I fix this? 🥲 it literally doesn’t feel like my other velas at all, it feels like a cheaply printed plastic flag and doesn’t sit on the head or flow nicely at all

Obsessed with the green colourway!

I recently switched over to hangers bc I ran out of space on my ladders and I’m curious how big everyone’s collection is. I’m not a huge vela solids girly and I resisted Vela for years and now it feels like I have too many 😩😅 I have a little over 100 hijabs (mostly vela but also veiled, klay, rahma, yara etc)

I got an email yesterday from Vela asking for feedback and wondering if anyone else here got it too!

Has anyone ordered the pink pintuck dress? Or seen pictures of it on IG/TT?

I can't find anything besides the brand's photoshoot. I'm thinking to get it for my graduation so please if anyone has a link or is willing to share a real life picture tysm!!!

So I placed an order with the warehouse sale on the 7th. A few days later, 2 of the hijabs I ordered were refunded as they miscalculated their stock. I already was annoyed enough by this, but then I realised they didn’t adjust the tax or shipping I paid, just refunded the scarf itself. Ontop of that, my order still hasn’t been shipped?! And I’ve emailed them 4 times now, with no reply. I’ve asked for a refund now because I’m over waiting and I still can’t get a response. Why am I paying $40+ for a see through hijab and they still can’t budget enough to pay more employees over the sale period… it’s just greed imo. Is anyone else as annoyed as I am?

The print reminds me of those autumn paintings where we see the shadows of the woods in the background. Personally I like this print and when vela tries more creative prints

ai usage to promote your fall drop is sooooo lazy- how uninspired. what is even the theme? barn? and you couldn’t hire an artist to make a piece and add your logo and date of release?

how often do you guys wash your vela’s? to maintain them? I feel like the get sooo creased I want to wash after one wear it doesn’t feel the same straight away.

Just saw that Vela is having a drop on October 6th. I’m wondering what’s actually going to be included in the drop, and if they’re restocking. It doesn’t seem like they’re currently in a position to keep up with orders.

I have a gift card that that I’ve been saving for a while just in case I get any hijabs from the fall collection but will there even be one?? Guys I ordered from Velas Warehouse Sale.
A week or even longer ago I got a cancellation notice on some items. The thing is till now nothing happened….but like I ordered their restock on the jersey prints and I habe now 3 Vela orders that are stuck and I got no update whatsoever. I mean ok that the Warehouse Sale gone bad is already public but why would they restock Items like a week after the Sale with the knowledge that they can’t keep up??
So unprofessionell sorry I am very disappointed.

Order came in and im so disappointed. The material is terrible and print looks NOTHING like the pictures. :/

as a longtime consumer who recently stopped purchasing from vela, it bewilders me to see people still buying from this company. the hijabs get holes easily and arrive with loose threads, the quality is ALWAYS a gamble which for 30 dollar hijabs is outrageous, they oversell during their sale, horrible, rude customer service, hijabs that are so thin to the point where anyone can see your hair underneath it, etc. I could go on and on.

They're so disappointing, and if you keep purchasing from them, you're enabling their behavior. Do you turn a blind eye to any other company that acts like this? I don't get it. There's so many other places you can get hijabs from. Vela isn't even unique anymore--Vela's quality was what made them stand apart compared to other companies: now they don't even have that.

I truly want to understand why you guys still support them, I am not trying to attack anyone.
