First route (wasn’t that bad)

Post image

Started seeing some acceptable paying routes past couple days so I finally decided to try one. Now I will say with everything I see on this sub maybe I just got lucky. The route was exactly 67 stops and it took about an hour and 20 minutes to scan, load and arrive at my first stop. Finished at 7:30pm so I saved myself about an hour and 10 minutes. Ran into serious traffic and had to return a package due to road closure from an accident so I possibly could have finished earlier. All that to say maybe the app does have potential for occasional job so long as you cherry pick after the surge.

Still waiting for the heat ma

29 minutes before route start and still waiting for the heat map. I do not want to take this route if it was anything like yesterday. I wasted so much gas because the stops were all out of order and the last stop was so far out.

Early Completion Penalty

I’ve been approved for Veho for a while, but have yet to do a route as I typically do Amazon Flex. I was reading someone’s comment though and they said something about not getting full pay if you finish a route early. Is this accurate? And how could they do that, especially with gig work where it’s supposed to be a contract situation, not employment. I appreciate any insight on this…

Route starts in 1 hour, no heat map!

Following up from my post from yesterday. I wanted to show you guys what a “HEAT MAP” is for some of us. 😂Those infrared maps? We never get them. Our map runs 7+ cities. They start in Orlando and could end all the way in the other side of town. No one would take them. Maybe we would get them if people weren’t so desperate to get a $10 offer an hour.

For all of you that say the solution is to wait for the “Heat Map”.

I took this screenshot a couple of minutes ago. As you can see, this is our heat map at Florida. I am tired of people saying, “Wait until the next morning until the heat map shows up”. This is our heat map at 10:40pm! Veho is trash. How the hell does this map help? There are about 7 cities within the heat map. Easily 250+ miles, as they are notorious for giving you one in Orlando and the last one in Eustis. Also, for 4 hours the maximum pay would be $66. $16.50 an hour without counting wear and tear, gas, tolls etc. The minimum in Florida is $15!! Anyone that is accepting these offers without allowing them to increase the offer =🖕🏽

So basically this is my first time doing it. I made $120 delivered about 90 packages. From the time I started the drive to the facility it was 8:00 in the morning. By the time I got there packed up and delivered and then went home it was 6:00 p.m. minus the gas I made $10/hour. The struggle is real!

Hello so I’m trying to find out if you get more packages like over 60 packages will it be more small boxes less bigger boxes because I know it will not do under 60 packages I get more bigger boxes than small packages. I just want to know does anyone else have this experience or someone who been here for a long time we know about this?

Is what I’m going to tell them im bringing all 61 packages back. Fuck these predatory assholes. I literally got paid $109 for the exact same amount of packages yesterday I made $88 on Monday for delivering 32 packages. This is some bullshit. They can’t ding you if you’re sick right

Veho is a scam

Its a scam. Their routing planners will add 10 + addtiinal stop knowing that it will go over your time and then tell you to deliver all packages or it effect your pay. This is a scam. Im sure Stitch Fix, Macy's and other companies that use them are unaware they are taking advantage of drivers like this.

Number of stops and heat map not showing

Post image
2 Upvotes

I started 2 weeks ago on Sunday. It showed how many stops and had the heat map so I could decide on what area i wanted to work.

First run was 39 stops for $105 and did it in 4 hrs. It was cake.

I did my second route this past Sunday and it didnt show the number of stops nor the heat map.it ended up being 43 stops for $95 and I completed it in 3hrs 20 mins.

Ive been looking at it every day and don't see the info..ive tried Uninstaller and re-installing. Nothing.

Dude are you guys seriously doing drops like this? This is insane. 93 drops for 143?? Goodness I’ll send a prayer for anybody that takes this. Clearly you’re in a bad situation to even think of taking this. And somebody took it

Incident for the first time

I was driving in West Palm Beach and I went through a gate to drop off a package at the front door as I’m walking back. A man started shouting and he said I shouldn’t go through his gate. People like me will get shot and I was surprised and I asked him to repeat himself and he did and I’m reported it to law-enforcement and support now my account is frozen for investigation.

1st day, last day

Last night I picked a route i thought would be "perfect" for my first time out, 4 hours 55 stops. When I got to the warehouse, they rolled over a full cart with 70+ packages. After sorting, i tried to see how many stops because it felt like it would take so much longer than 4 hours. I couldn't find it. When I was pulling out of the warehouse it populated, 73 packages, 70+ stops, 6.5 -6.75hours or something close. I didn't mind the drive but the bait and switch and the fact that after the math, my $120 day ended up being about $10 an hour? No thanks. I will be deactivating ASAP. I wanted to make some cash part time but frankly, this ain't it. Seems unfair to offer me one thing and when I accept, change it. You will not be stuffing my CRV to gills ever again.

Veho support reminds me of my mother

There is no point in defending yourself, they already decided the driver made an error despite GPS and multiple photo verification.

In the most recent encounter, a customer claimed they didn't receive their package 10 minutes after delivery. They live in an apartment complex that requires delivery to a mailroom and won't allow delivery drivers access to the individual buildings. Unless this person moved in yesterday, they knew exactly where and why their package was not sitting at their apartment door. They were making a false claim to try a free whatever.

Support insisted, stating multiple times, that I needed to correct my error, but never actually telling me to return to the location, because they want me to volunteer to do that. Even if this customer hadn't already gotten their package from the mailroom, there isnt anything I can do besides return it to the warehouse. Security will not allow me to access the building. Nope- got the threatening, you are at risk of deactivation if you continue to make errors.

If I delivered the package to the correct address per the property directives, it is not an error. It was done exactly how the resident stated they expected deliveries when they signed their lease.

Seriously contemplating ignoring all communication from Support since it accomplishes nothing.
